They used to say never write your passwords down, but recently saw the end of some ‘geek’ type show on t.v. and they said it was more likely someone would hack your puter and find them than they would break into your home and do so. So maybe following your idea could be the answer. Thing is had got used to the ‘remember me’ features and rarely had to use the password on any site I used. Mind you as my son said, all my ‘bookmarked’ pages could not have been that important if I cannot recall what they all were.
I see your point, but surely have to write them down. I have a pocket book size, so I can hide that away … Has to be for me, cant think of another way …
Following on from yesterdays thread - went to lunch with a couple of friends. Was royally entertained!!! started off with prawn and crayfish cocktail, roast beef and all the trimmings, finished off with Banoffee pie. My hosts do a lot of ‘home’ cooking, not just for themselves but others within the immediate vicinity, so when I came away was given FOUR pieces of bread pudding (already eaten and it was fabulous!!!), some home made pork sausages, and a jar of plum preserve. Today’s lunch will obviously be pork sausage, mash, and gravy.
We are having Chicken Drumsticks and vegetables today.
Going to make the celery soup stella gave us the recipe for and serving it with home made bread roll for OH and a slice of toasted tofu for me.
I’m finishing off the soup for lunch with crusty rolls again, then an easy meal tonight of sausages, chips and beans. Get the sausages off my butcher - he makes lovely pork ones.
Seafood salad and a jacket spud. Fresh fruit salad to follow.
That celery soup we had was lovely thank you Stella !
Glad you liked it Julie. I prefer my home-made vegetable one though.
Spent the morning cooking a potato and leek soup, and a bread pud. Just had a portion of each for lunch. Mmmm…
For supper, it will be a Morrisons lamb casserole with a dumpling, and possibly some new potatoes (got a bag of seconds yesterday for 25p), and strawberries for dessert, either with cream or ice cream.
Had leeks in a low fat cheese sauce today. With some low fat chips.
mmm i’ll be round for the bread pudding Jazzi.
Today we had Turkey Salad, perhaps just cereal tonight for supper.
The other day picked up a two packs of pork and chilli meatballs from the reduced section at Tesco and froze them. Plan was to turn them into burgers. But lying in bed last night, trying to sleep, came up with following idea. (funnily enough most of my recipes come to me as am dropping off). Will turn the one pack of a dozen balls, into at least two doz, (maybe more) tiny ones. Will make a thick spicy tomato and onion sauce with chilli and paprika, will fry off the balls to get a caramelized crust, and then add to the sauce, and serve with rice with added sweetcorn, petit pois and onions. Oh and also got some reduced rhubarb so may repeat the rhubarb pie/crumble. .
Save me some DM, I’m on the next Cardiff train out of Paddington.![]()

I’ll lift my nose and sniff the air DM.
Today we are having Chicken Kiev, Roast Potatoes, Roast Parsnips, Baked Onions, French Beans, Swede & gravy.
Its Sunday again, so full Sunday roast with all the trimmings and cherry pie and custard for ‘pudding’!!!
Just eaten roast pork with roast potatos and veggies. The crackling was lovely too.
Special request from son who will be working until 4.30, spag.bol, with some of the rhubarb crumble/pie to follow.
