What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

Julie darlin’ - what’s a diet??? - personally I’m on a (see) food diet.

Jazzi darlin’ - bring the cake - I’ve got the custard!!!

Something to improve my life and has got me walking easier again, less out of breath and happier.

I did the see food diet for many years it didn’t make me happy or able to move around easily.

Just had a Baguette filled with cheese n pickle. Also a nice big Latte Now I’m stuffed lol.

Laughing at UJ! Tonight is roast pork slices, with roasted potatoes, parsnip, sweet potato and kohl rabi, cooked stuffing from Sainsbury’s (bargain at 50p), whatever other veg I decide and 1-2 ready cooked Yorkies.

mmmm I love Jamaican Ginger Cake, yummy but naughty. We had your favourite Rib Sticker today UJ, Steak & Kidney Pudding and tonight we are having a small Chicken tikka Pizza.

Only one (baguette)??? - that wouldn’t even fill the hollow in my tooth Roxy darlin’.

Yep only the one. The Laird was down in Inverness at some Farming thingie so I just had that for tea, untill His Majesty gets in…then if he’s not scoffed Fish n Chips on the way up the road I’ll whip something together for a late Dinner.

Haggis, neeps and tatties with a wee dram???:lol::lol:

Roasting a chicken today, so meat eater will have chicken, mixed veg and mashed potatoes, looking at a frittata type of thing for me using up veg and potato from yesterday might use my weekly cheese allowance on it too.

Errrrr…I don’t think so lol. :018:

Had Chicken and veg for lunch today.

Cup of Tomato Soup and a Tuna Sandwich for us the day…He also whacked into the last tub of ice cream too. Guess I’ll be heading for Tesco this afternoon…he’s break down and cry if he couldn’t get his Ice Cream…Couldn’t have that now, or could I?:lol::lol:

Hi Rox, that doesn’t seem like a lot of food for a whole day, go on, go and buy that ice cream.

I truly believe ice-cream is a ‘man thing’.
My father in law would take a bowl out to the ice cream van some sundays, and get it filled  not that he wouldn’t buy us all a 99 each too.
Hubby, son and son in law are not that bad but they all like a big helping

Today we are having Spicy Chicken Gougons, homemade Courgette and tomato bake & salad new potatoes. Very healthy today.

Chicken salad for meat eater (who has now lost 2.5 stones) and a rosemary sausage with salad for me (now lost 3 stones !).

I’ve succumbed, - having steak & Kidney PUDDING with steamed potatoes, carrots and parsnips and will make a drop of gravy to go with it all.

Roast beef, roast spuds, parsnips, carrots and cabbage, Yorkshire puds.

Have to disagree about ice cream being a man thing. I am not fit to live with if I don’t get an ice cream fix each day. At the moment Lidl do a choc covered ice cream lolly with almonds, and I have one each day as ‘afters’

To be a bit more healthy I do buy frozen yogurt and Walls have been doing a really lovely strawberry and vanilla frozen yogurt which is delicious.

I have been known to resort to frozen bananas, frozen strawberries with a little milk powder blitzted in a blender this makes a passable iced dessert not exactly ice cream but healthy and cold.
