What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

Makes sense to me. I do some of my errands when I have my grandson because his stroller works like a walker and there’s a parcel basket underneath.

I agree. I stay as active as I can, which isn’t much any more, but I do a bit every day. I like your attitude.

Glad that didn’t become permanent Julie. I’ve had double vision, and lost my speech, both short-term, but no blind spells yet. Yes, can be worse than just the legs giving out, that’s for sure.

So as for dinner, I’m thinking quinoa with rosemary, fresh parsley and tomatoes and maybe a small piece of fish if I find something at the market. Going out again after my nap if the dizziness clears.

Tonight we are having, Steak & Kidney Pudding, new potatoes, Cauliflower Cheese and Cabbage.

Good old rib-stickers!!! - nothing like it is there Susie darlin’.

Smoked haddock, mash and peas. For lunch - home-made veggie soup and crusty rolls.

Celeriac mash, lettuce, grated carrot, pickled onions and ham for meat eater, all the above minus the ham for me, probably have a little cheese with mine too.

Not very good on the Waistline though UJ!!!

Gammon ham salad with new potatoes and Eve’s pudding and custard.

We had Lamb Shanks with Vegs.

Chicken curry over brown rice. Had some nice fresh mango chopped up in it.

Waistline??? - I have a waistline??? - I don’t think so Susie darlin’

UJ, I bet you have a plimsoll line.

No Paul matey, - can’t wear plimpsolls, - can’t bend to tie the laces

We had Breaded Chicken, cubed potatoes cooked in leeks, bacon, mushrooms with herbs, & bakebeans.

My daughter has a nice piece of beef in the crockpot with lots of onions and other vegetables and seasoning. The kitchen already smells good and it’s only 2 pm here.

UJ - technically your waistline is where your pants come up to. And don’t try to tell us you wear a muʻumuʻu.

A what??? - what the hell is that when its about - no to disguise my paunch I might wear kaftans (like Demis Roussos did).:lol::lol:

Took a Kangaroo steak from my freezer yesterday. will peel and chop lots of root vegetables this morning and make a kangaroo casserole to eat this afternoon.

I like kangaroo - nice to eat but a bugger to catch.

I’m cooking Tuna steaks this evening. Haven’t decided what to have with them or what wine to open. Depends on the weather - it’s quite nice at present.

Have just had …
…a pork chop in a mustard and herb sauce,
…saute potatoes,
…orange salad,
…I am now too full to walk Chloe

What??? - no pud??? - Oh Meg darlin’ - you’re letting the side down.:lol::lol::lol:

Hi UJ  no pud  when I have washed up I will have a pear and some walnuts
