We just had Chinese Curry.
I had a large brunch of scambled eggs on toast with bake beans as Id been invited for a drink n nibbles by my neighbour so knew Id better line my stomach first. She mixes a mean drink. Now im too tiddly and stuffed by her nibbles to care… Maybe a little soup later if im awake

I thought Id taken a red thai chicken curry out of the freezer but it turns out to be a carrot red pepper and chick pea soup…:0(
So I guess its soup for tea , I was so looking forward to a nice curry …ah well teach me to lable my tupperware tubs …

Been out for a meal this evening. A mixed starter of deep fried prawns, chicken,mushrooms,potato wedges, nachos and dips, for four people. Then I had sizzling piri piri chicken skewers with rice. Very nice indeed. And not a horse in sight:lol:

Last night we had slices of belly pork cooked in the ‘swirly thing’ (otherwise known as the Halogen Oven) until it was golden and crispy, and at my sons request we had it with uber creamy mash and baked beans. Today it will be some awesome huge lamb shoulder chops (cooked on griddle to sear outside and leave inside pink and tender) with roast spuds and assorted veg might even throw in milk pudding while roasties are doing.
Oh and if have not said it before here is secret of cloud light mash. Number one always always use a floury spud - K.Edward, Maris Piper, Red Rooster - that type, boil until they are really tender, just about to break up, drain and leave colander on pan so steam dries them out, then mash until almost powder, then, and this is important, add WARM milk and using a balloon whisk, whisk gradually adding butter until soft, creamy and delicioso!!
Weve just had cottage pie with mince (from Waitrose), mushrooms and onions all made from scratch and mashed potatoes, and lots of fresh vegetables. It was very nice and weve got the other half tomorrow for lunch

Stir fry with ginger, chilli, garlic, onion, leek, celery, carrot, red pepper and tiger prawns…and lashings of sweet chilli sauce
Today we are having Jewish Chicken Penicilian with Mash potatoes and Peas.
Today we are having homemade Lasgana, Rice & Mushrooms.
I made some bread this morning so made a base for a pizza too …So thats tea a nice spicy pizza and glass of red wine …
Have washed and dried pieces of Rabbit, peeled and chopped onion, carrots, parsnips, mushrooms, celeriac. Made 1/2 Pt stock. Fried rabbits pieces in Beef dripping until golden brown, picked out and placed in slow cooker. Added veg to frying pan and cooked veg in dripping for 3 - 4 minutes. Added 1 oz plain flour and cooked for further 2 mins. Added stock and brought to boil. As stock thickened, put all veg and stock into slow cooker with rabbit and switched on. Rabbit casserole will be ready later this evening after I’ve completed errands.
