What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

Thanks Mollie. I would have been out by now if I had murdered him 25 years ago :lol::lol:

Wor’a bluddy shame. :lol::lol::lol:

Bought a nice bacon joint last week. Will smother it in honey and wholegrain mustard and roast it tomorrow. Will also cut up some potatoes and steam them with some mixed veg from the freezer.

Steak and kidney pudding today

my hubby used to say that, till he was a bit slow ducking and I got him with the copper jug. Always looked lovely with Pussy Willow an Daffs in it, detracted from the dent,:077:

Snap Jan darlin’!!!

Just past noon here. ClaireMarie fixed delicious gluten-free pancakes with blueberries and we had some bbq chicken wings on the side. Brewing some green tea now and watching weather updates on the news (Hurricane Sandy).

Mornin’ All

I’m having boring old salad for my dinner as I will be on my own for about four hours as hubby has to be out with the dog so he won’t be here to get my dinner.

I’m having chicken liver curry rice and chips, oooh luvely jubbly. The dog will have the same he likes it too.

Send out for a take-away Alison darlin’ - some Pizza companies deliver all day!!! - can’t sit there and starve (salad is rabbit food - I’d rather have the rabbit itself and make a casserole).

A couple of Lamb grills, mashed potato and mixed veg from the freezer with gravy.

Now have a large jar of mincemeat, so might make myself a mincemeat fruit loaf and add some Brandy to it too!!!

Got a beef stew simmering… there is enough for tomorrow too, when it will taste even better  but I’ll add some fresh veg in the morning.

Jan darlin’ - make it even richer, - add some choriso sausage to the stew tomorrow too!!! and BTW, what’s the address and how do I get there???

I don’t mind a bit of beef stew either Jan, so sounds like you’d better throw in a few extra spuds and set a couple of extra places…

Can i come too please?? i will bring the Dumplings ,

Oh yeah Anji darlin’ - suet dumplings - can’t have a stew without suet dumplings, just not done!!!

Lol too right it is’nt ,

I am having some pigs heart and liver, parsnip, onion, leek, carrot and fennel. Yummy!

you mean there’s not only me likes pigs liver (had lambs heart and ox heart but not pigs:-D:-D)

I’ve never had heart, but I like all types of liver with beef being my favourite. I just quickly fry it on both sides and slap it between two slices of bread dipped into the frying juices, absolute liver bliss…
