What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

This evenings meal was, chicken stir fry, in an oyster and spring onion sauce, followed by a yoghurt.

Hmmm I had a mixture …a omelette with peas onion and cheese …with some left over home made chicken curry ( minus the rice)

I’ll be round sometime just before Xmas to come and taste your strawberry vodka Mall darlin’

Now that is a complete liquid lunch…complete with fruit and veg 2 of your 5 a day

Tonight had currywurst (bockwurst coated in sauce) with french fries.

I shall be treating myself over the weekend though as I picked up a gorgeous fillet steak earlier on, so I’m going to have that with souffle potatoes, vegetables and a pepper sauce. :mrgreen:

Had to go to the ‘vampire clinic’ this morning, so called into the supermarket on my way home - bought another piece of Pork which I will cook tomorrow night in the slow cooker for my lunch on Sunday. Have the Cider to accompany it too!!!

apple.stawberries,nectarine and grapes for lunch boy do I feel healthy today, tonight it’s a Hollands mince and onion pie chips and peas to make up for it.

We had some chicken left over from yesterday so I made some chicken and vegetable mini pies (using muffin tins) for lunch today, using pizza dough instead of pastry. It was a bit of a mess around putting them together as the dough is so elastic, bit the pies were delicious and I dished them up with french beans from the garden. With the piece of dough left I also made a small pizza by covering the dough with tomato puree and then grating on some strong cheddar and throwing it in the oven with the pies for 15 minutes…that will do for tea methinks…:smiley:

Tonight we will be having fish, chips, peas and a bottle of lightly chilled chardonnay.

That sounds lovely mmmm.

It will be fish, a baked potato and salad, followed by fresh fruit salad, which will included some lovely cherries and English strawberries, I love English strawberries mmmm.

Apparently I have been overruled. It is now spaghetti carbonara and a lightly chilled chardonnay.

I had a Holland’s steak and kidney pudding and chips for tea. I love Holland’s stuff. :smiley:

Home made veg soup and a wholemeal roll for lunch. Fish and salad for our evening meal. Nothing very exciting today.:lol:

Defrosted a chicken breast, chopped into bite-sized chunks, placed in large pan, with onion, garlic and mushrooms. After 5 mins added Golden rice and veg and poured over a large jar of black bean garlic sauce. When it started to bubble, turned down to low heat and allowed to simmer for 15 - 20 mins. It was delicious!!!

I made a bread pudding yesterday, so to round off the meal today, placed a slice of the bread pudding in a bowl and poured custard over it!!!
