If that’s how you feel about one of our allies since 1949, Greenland being an independent country who relies on no one and has taken care of its own since then… Useless population??
Why do you think Trump should be bothering with it, you being so intelligent and all? It will cost Americans millions and millions to send troops in. Supply seas with security, and any other quirky thing Trump wants to do with it.
Respect Greenland and it citizens, they are well liked by their neighbors as well as Denmark.

Walz is the Governor of the state of Minnesota. No governor of any state in the US has the ability to employ tanks to another country.
This is a prime example of MAGA folks spreading chaos with misinformation.

Walz has a previous army career but that was before his political career as a governor. Not sure he had the ability to send tanks anywhere at his army rank.

One on one he will always win.
The Reality of life is also this.
Don’t give up, please don’t.
If enough complain, things change, no single person can beat everyone else working together all the time.
All this talk of a revolution is just playing into the hands of the Tyrants they control the highly trained people with the tanks and the guns.
We need a quiet revolution but a determined one.

Yes I followed that, but not clear what your reply has to do with Walz or what Walz has to do with natural gas tanks.
Your whole post sounds pretty contemptous of the Inuits …with their bows and arrows … and goes on to rather evidence the same view with people, Europeans, who presumbaly need saving.
Of course, you might, and I suspect you did, merely post that to get a reaction.
Fact is … Europe certainly Greenland , needs saving from the President Don Bonespurs.
Today he has Canada in his sights.

Bizarre and irrational thinking, if I am allowed an opinion Morty. Trump wishes to use Greenland for a number of reasons in order to defend the people of the USA, Canada, Greenland and us to some extent . To do so he wishes to build an advance warning system on Greenland and an extremely advanced nuclear umbrella, for starters. The requirements and needs that must be coming from scientists way above his thinking. Putin must be clapping his hands at the moment watching the normal talk, talk, talk as normal coming from Europe regarding defending his Hypersonic Highway into the USA, when they would have difficulty defending the local Chippy.
No he does not. The US has always had the rights to have a military presence in Greenland. It used to have a very large military presence but decided, on its own, to greatly reduce that. It could easily rebuilt that military presence. The advance warning systems exist across US, Canada and Greenland already. There is zero argument that defense is the reason for Trump’s aggression over Greenland.
The desire for Greenland to be US territory is not defense. It is money. The two goals are minerals and the northwest passage. Both are made accessible by global warming reducing the ice and snow cover. Funny how Trump wants to dismantle any global efforts to stop global warming. Trump wants to enable his mates to get even richer at the expense of another country. There is nothing he doing to help the people of America and less for his (once) allies.
Putin is not dismayed by Europe objecting to Trump taking over Greenland. He is delighted that once again Trump is creating disagreement and breakdown amongst NATO allies. Again Trump helps out Putin. Your reading of international events is as illiterate as how Trump views things. And surely you must ask yourself why Trump does so much to help Putin?

I’m glad you said Trump wants Greenland for a number of reasons … defence is a bit of a smoke screen. He has allies to help with that which doesn’t require him to ‘own’ Greenland or threaten a military takeover. Allies he’s now alienated with his dictatorial … I’m the Leader of the World rhetoric.
Try rare minerals instead. Try profit. Try mega bucks to profit himself and his good friends/propsectors/business associates like three billionairres who’ve been investing heavily in Greenland the last few years … Gates, Bezos and Bloomberg.
And this comes after Venuzuela and it’s lucrative oil reserves. The biggest in the world. America has 3% of the world reserves. Saudi Arabia has 16%. Venezuela has 18%.
He’s more likely carving up the world’s remaining resources.
Aside from been totally mad which he might not be able to help anymore.
For all i know … he’s bent on weakening Europe as a trading block and is using all means at his disposal.
I have to hand it to him … he has the vision to spot the approaching dearth of oil and minerals and so is carving it up now and securing American interests.
