I never said that Trump would not win. So no egg or towel is needed. I was highlighting that Trump will not make the majority of Americans better off. He will destroy what little social and health care exists. He will favour corporations, who have been suppressing wage rises for decades and sourcing cheaper labour where possible for decades. (See the de-skilling and outsourcing problems at Boeing as a prime example.)
Most Americans will not see prosperity from Trump. Already well off Americans will no doubt gain. But the not so well off, who voted Trump, will take comfort in seeing minorities blamed. But they will gain the prosperity you predict.

I think I said earlier in this thread that the Americans will never vote in a woman leader. I said I hoped I would be proved wrong. But IMO that is the main issue. Trump has beaten a woman twice. When he stood against Joe Biden he lost.
Despite the battles of the women’s movements over the years, the US has never given legal equality to women. Unfortunately it’s going further in the direction of reducing the rights of women. Just as many women in certain parts of the US seem to support that approach as men. They are happier to vote for more fondling and groping without any censure.

Quite. Given the dominant role the armed forces have always been playing in the US because of the excessive power a president in that country has, it’s a disadvantage for women that they have not served in them. Unfortunately, we’ve had two female ministers of defence, one of them even in war time (Ukraine), and they failed to do the job since they didn’t know the first thing about the armed forces, didn’t want to learn nor talk about weapons. They were visibly uncomfortable in their job, in interviews, and visits to the troops ( one turned up in Mali wearing high heels) so that they don’t have the credit needed in that office. In the US it’s even more critical to look the part.

The USA considers it’s self a “Christian” nation, and that is the group traitor Don successfully wooed , and that is why he won. Kamala Harris is a woman, too far Left, and an ALT Life supporter , and most American would rather have a Christian nut over an Alt Life nut. The only winners from this election will be Corporate America and the affluent, the losers will be the poor, the working class, and the elderly. Traitor Don and his Corporate / Christian collaborators will take center stage in January as they begin their assault on our civil rights, our economy, and our environment, so in 2025 you can say hello to the beginnings of Christofascism in the USA. I wonder who they are going blame the school shootings on. So Adolph Trump will taint the Oval Office again in 2025, and the really bad thing is the message Trumps election sends to the world, hell, American troops may (in 2025) be “goose stepping” alongside Russian and North Korean troops in Ukraine.

Trump is a fraudster, traitor, compulsive liar, a convicted felon, and a business man (who has spent as much time in bankruptcy as he has business), and no where near being a “star spangled patriotic stayer”, what he has done (even brilliantly) is successfully taped into the most extremist of ideologies, religion. and once you tap into religion (especially Christian) you’ve tapped into one of the most controlling and intolerant ideological concepts known to man, and the funny part about it, he is not even religious, he is in it for the power.What we (USA) need is some moderate candidate (Left or Right) to step forward in the stead of the extremist candidates we’ve had in the last 2 Presidential elections, and unfortunately here in the USA, unity is not even an option for the foreseeable future.
