Peoples integrity and accusations are put into question with no reputable information source.
By giving a link to a source, it makes it harder for people to spread lies.
Even when quoting them, acceptance is hard for some.
There seems to be a recurrent theme here.
You are repeatedly posting video clips. Which no-one watches by the way.
Others are suggesting that this posting of many. many video clips isn’t really the purpose of a chat forum. You know, a forum where people share their thoughts, insights and opinions?
You state : but showing someone else’s video clip is clearly more objective and factually substantiated that merely posting your personal point of view. Posting video clips is the best.
The audience shouts “oh no its not”
You repeat: oh yes it is
Audience shouts “oh no its not”
LOL, you may not know this but on the link, it shows how many people comment on the link. No, you can’t post on the link if you don’t access the video.
They can state it better then I can. Using statements, straight from the horses mouth is hard to refute, like facts and truths.
Obviously no one is disagree with the statements that they are providing.
Oh yes that is most very likely but not universally true (not sure this works as an audience chant)
Oh no it isn’t
Although this last sentence (sort of sentence) does confirm your first claim that the videos will express things better than you.
Robin
Keep on posting your links.
The Left has no answer to them thats why they are attacking you.
The link on Trump on Jan6 shows up thrir lies.
The topic is about 2024 election Antics.
Popping in again.
I thought you might like to see the Florida ballot. As you can see, there are several parties for the presidency - everything from far-ish right to far left communists (who left Cuba due to poverty and misery, only to masochistically bring their “ideology” to the U.S.), to near nihilism. Florida Political Parties.
There are also state and local officials to be elected and a few amendments to the state constitution up for approval.
Because Florida is a winner-take-all state, the minor parties have a near-zero chance of appearing on the national scoreboard. These parties use the elections to educate, build grass roots support, and build leverage for their causes.
The winner of the popular vote in Florida will be assign 30 votes to be cast in the Electoral College in December. You may not know, but an elector in the Electoral College can still go rogue as a “faithless elector” and change their vote, despite the outcome of the popular vote in their state. In some states, the changed vote counts and in others, no change is allowed and penalties are assigned. The power of electors is determined by individual state laws. You can read about it here: Faithless Electors.
For all the antics, debate, arguments, photos, jabs, and videos, the only thing that matters is the privilege, power, and responsibility of completing this (apologies for showing the last page first):
Now that was really interesting.
It does seem odd voting for members of the legal system (separation of powers and all that) and the electoral college overriding the popular vote but at least it is not the table cloth size ballot paper that our senate ballot paper sometimes was.
nobody was attacking - and it isnt about the left having no answer - obviously anyone supporting the left could bombard the thread with videos of their viewpoint too. As I said before, Youtube is great for that - there are umpteen videos on every possible viewpoint
and you are right - nobody is posting countering (or supporting) whatever the videos say - because nobody is watching them. If they want to watch Youtube videos they go on Youtube.
A discussion thread however isnt a music thread - the intention is to have a discussion.
Endless copy and paste videos, of any viewpoint, don’t do that
Thanks for posting those details and election forms, @Surfermom
It’s interesting to see the range of other voting choices you have to make at the same time as voting in the Presidential Election.
Here in U.K., our news outlets tend to focus on news about the Presidential elections.
I often think that Presidential election news overshadows the equally important news (perhaps more important, really) about elections for the Senate and House of Representatives.
You always find a way Robin.
All of this reel (why Trump sucks as President) is documented fact, Trump was / is the worst President in our (USA) illustrious history, there is not even a close second. Trump (and his followers) are traitors / enemies to the United States of America (and Democracy), you will honestly not find a single positive to Donald Trump’s term. I was not a fan of Hilary Clinton (nor Joe Biden), but Biden came in an cleaned up Trumps mess, a mess we would not have had to deal with had Hilary been elected. While I am not a big fan of Kamala Harris (too far Left), but like Clinton, she is a much better option, true Americans need to show up and vote at the polls, you know Fascist America will be there (Trumpers).
I am in favor of a single tax rate for all, no deductions. Business taxes and tariffs(all business cost) are passed on to the consumer, yet Corporate America deducts all cost from their taxes, the only ones paying taxes are American consumers, Corporations and the affluent walk away tax free.
Trump has secured an extreme Christian Right following, and his goal is to create a Christofascist State (he has publicly said as much) with him as dictator, but in the end, the very group who will stop him will be the very group he is attempting woo, the Christian Right. US politics (unfortunately) is not about the American people, it is about Corporate control, they are the ones putting up the big money to finance election campaigns (Trump is a Corporate leader, see Trumps massive Corporate tax deductions).Social Security /Medicare are programs which are in dire need of attention, and has not been addressed by any administration (Democrat or Republican), as well as health care (Obama attempted) and the cost of meds, why, because it is not in the best interest of Corporate America. Education / health / social needs (housing / jobs / poor / elderly) are / should be the priority of government, not religion, sexual preferences / Alt life issues.
