Definitely good news!
Mollie, thanks for the various updates, unfortunately I am (usually) only on here at weekends now so I missed your first update on Monday.
But I’m delighted she is doing so well and look forward to seeing her back on here as soon as she feels ready.
Thanks Losos.
Once she’s discharged from the hospital, Jon will have his work cut out because he works full time. Hopefully though, Ann will have her daughters around to help out, although they also work full time. I’m sure they’ll figure something out.
Really pleased to hear the good news Mollie and thank you for all your updates.
Please pass on my congratulations and very best wishes to Anne and Jon.
George
I’ve already asked Jon to give Ann all our love and congratulations, George. Thanks.
Even though I’m new to this forum, I’m pleased to hear that Ann is up and ‘running’ around, just a few more days and she’ll be at home…bet she can’t wait.
No theres no lying abed these days in hospital you are soon out and home, and thats how we like it.
Janela thank you. I’ve known Ann for about six years now in the cyberworld and I’ve been privileged to meet her twice when she’s come over to the UK. She’s one of the loveliest people you could ever know and she is most deserving of all the lovely comments on here.
Annie, you’re right about hospitals wanting you up and about, but she’s had major heart surgery at 64 years old, so I have to admit I was very surprised, but delighted.
Fantastic news now! I’ve just got off the phone. Pixie phoned me and she’s now home, ahead of schedule!
:-D:-D
Blimey that was quick. Great news. I’m sure she will feel better now she is at home & can take it easy. :-D:-D
Great news! Thanks for keeping us informed Mollie.
There’s no place like home

Oh wow, that soon! They must be really pleased at how well she’s doing to let her go ahead of schedule! Did she mention the valve clicking; that seemed to be really worrying her before …
It was quick, but she’d been doing really well. She was going like a gattling gun filling me so I can’t tell you everything she said.
She couldn’t sleep for the first two nights with the clicking of the valve and she has to have blood tests every couple of days. She’s had some of the staples out and she said it was like somebody nipping her, but she was on pain relief at the time.
I’ll have to leave the rest for Ann to let you know.
Excellent news Didn’t expect to read tonight that Ann would be home yet…So pleased she is recovering so quickly:-) Thanks again Mollie for all the updates…
Well I never, all done and back home again. What a relief, only way is up now for Ann
Will be a big worry for her husband but she is away from infection.
I can’t tell you how delighted I was to hear her voice on the other end of the phone. I was shocked, but thrilled at the same time.
She’d been told she could go home Sunday or Monday, but the surgeon came round today and was very pleased with her progress so he said she could go today.
She’s still a way to go yet, and the next six weeks will be critical as she hasn’t to get any kind of infection. She says she looks as if she has a zip up her front!
It must be such a relief for Pixie to be home I am delighted for her…
Now comes the long healing process …
That’s wonderful news! The doctors must be well satisfied with her progress to allow her home so soon:-)
I’m so pleased for Ann and her husband.
