Unpopular opinions - an amnesty!

Who dare go against popular opinion Mupsy…

You must be feeling absolutely tremendous, having got all that off your chest, Foxy, although having permission to do it probably spoiled the fun a little bit. :slightly_smiling_face:

It’s lovely being able to make any form of conjecture which is the yang to the standard accepted jing position, especially when one doesn’t feel the need to provide any proper supporting evidence for it.

There probably is no supporting evidence Melgal, but it’s what I think, and isn’t that what an opinion is?

It sure is OGF. The only real question I guess is when there’s a possibility that an opinion has drifted into the realms of absurd fantasies.

It might seem like a fantasy to you Mel, but I’m deadly serious.

Dont doubt they are your genuine beliefs whatsoever. Wishful thinking is another possible phrase since it’d be lovely if some of those things you state could be shown to be factually true.

Most can Melgal, but although I’ve posted many links and bonafide info in the past I can’t be arsed these days cos most people come up with excuses or try to debunk my sources. And to be quite frank, it makes no difference in the grand scheme of things and I’m just wasting my time when I could be out in the sunshine doing something interesting. So I’m off out for some lunch now…Taraaa!

Yay! That’s exactly what I meant, an unpopular opinion bravely voiced :+1:

It feels good, doesn’t it? and it’s your opinion so you don’t have to justify

Big thanks for getting bravely with the program!:heart_eyes:

I think cushions are a ruddy nuisance and often butt ugly!

As of a few days ago, I am 67, and I am making this known so that no one need be left guessing how much pity I should be afforded. :unamused:

Ha, ha, you’re a year older than me, old timer :two_hearts:

But at least you don’t post wrinkly!

No, I only come out wrinkly on photographs. :slightly_smiling_face:

My new neighbour likes cut flowers so when she came out of hospital I bought a bouquet.
On Valentines, I bought her chocolates and a bunch of roses. I really like her but were not romantically linked

Personally, I would rather be given a plant in a pot. It takes longer to die on me.

Flowers are a smashing gift if you know someone likes them

And I like seeing them in other peoples house, at weddings, in the church etc

I just don’t like watching them fade and die in my house. Maybe I’ll put in a bid for those Daz Daffs!

I have to say, I’m not convinced by the not romantically linked part

Faint heart never won fair lady, get in there, my son! :two_hearts::heart:

I had a similar argument about real cut Christmas trees. The reply I was given was that they are grown for Christmas so it’s not wasteful. I still think they could grow something else instead than a tree to slowly die over 2 weeks

You can still get them:
