Ouch sorry about that.
I only climb trees that donāt have bears in them, Danny, and thatās why I get away with it.
Of course if anyone wants to see me a bear in the woods you only have to ask.
Mary had a little lamb,
she also had a bear,
Iāve often seen her little lamb
Iāve never seen her bear.
Here,if you want to stay old,itās best avoid some trees. Some Gum trees drop branches and are called āwidowmakersā for a good reason.
Itās the same for muffin the mule
Climbing trees, yay!
Also paddling, swimming in the sea, walking on walls, granny dancing at social events and riding a small kick scooter all around the town ā¦ā¦ā¦.
When Husband got one of his model aeroplanes stuck firmly in a unshakeable very tall treeā¦He went home got a ladder and climbed up it reach out as far as with a long thin piece of wood to knock it downā¦I was standing waiting to catch itā¦
no tears but the state of his bare arms were bloodyā¦pride hurt as wellā¦
We have a tall wide trunk tree that was here many many moons agoā¦Along comes some electric cables to enable neighbours to have electricity right above the treeā¦Now twice yearly we have to butcher itā¦literallyā¦poor treeā¦it is now just touching the cables as I typeā¦
Was the model airplane damaged Di?
Yes smashedā¦he never had the right teacher Minxā¦spend hundreds and hundreds on planesā¦Ok, he has most still, they are stored in an outside Chalet, one he has never put together evenā¦
oh and then there is his model speed boatā¦kaputā¦electrical faultā¦
Men and their toys!
I hope hubby is doing better
Heās awaiting to finish some treatmentā¦not sure when yetā¦
And bike riding. Cycling is very popular among all age groups these days, and I see lots of older people riding bikes. So I am not unusual as a more mature bike rider, but none of the other old codgers ride their bikes as recklessly as I do.
Wishing him all the best Di
be careful there are old bike riders and bold bike riders but no old bold riders ā¦ā¦
The older ones they have the electric bikes and unless you look hard they look very similar to normal peddle bikesā¦even have a basket and bellā¦ding ding they goā¦
If you saw me on my bike you would think you were looking at a teenager, Muddy, if you couldnāt see my head.
I prefer to play on the swings in a park, or on the slide, but it has to be a slide big enough for me to slide down on.
I do hug trees, but canāt find one with low enough branches to climb it.
Not me, Dianne. Raw leg power for me. I do have a bell though, which came with the bike, and makes a feeble little tinging noise. No basket though.
You need a siren.
And a basket. Baskets are lovely on a bike.
