Snow up here now - don’t think it will stick, though. Seems a bit too wet. At least the wind has dropped for the time being.
Hiya Judd, I was talking to a friend in York earlier, and she said it was snowing heavily and settling too, but that was this afternoon.
Relieved to hear everyone is safe and sound, and most of the damage is minor. I empathize!

Sitting here in bed and the wind is still blowing nasty gusts I dont think its giving anyone time to fix fences or roofs . A friends solid built brick wall collapsed yesterday . So another windy unsettled day down here in Dorset

These storms are something we will all have to start living with.
Just as one storm passes another one is coming along.
Our weather has reached a tipping point across the globe and call me a miserable participant
But, we have all been warned about climate change, changing jet stream, melting ice etc etc.
Here in south east England today its raining heavily and the wind is picking up again.
Scenes like this will soon become a 'normal day ’

Rubbish Nexus, it’s just called weather not climate change, and has been occuring ever since the beginning of time. The sun and earths normal activities (El-Nino, Volcanoes etc) determines the global weather not anything humans can or have done. Any effect man may have made is purely local and can be corrected locally by removing some of the pollution, think ‘London Smog’
Thinking you can change the climate is just another conspiracy theory.

I agree also. This makes interesting reading. I’ve no idea whether any of it is true or not though but it does seem plausible and you wouldn’t hear or see this reported on BBC/Sky/ITV News broadcasts. I wonder what Sir David Attenborough would be thinking if he read it?

The Jet is powerful at the moment because of such contrasting temperature ranges in the USA which is firing the jet along like a crack of a whip .Its winter its February and its fill dyke month .

Brilliant post and link Percy, I’ve always thought it was an uphill struggle to try and compete with the MSM and especially David Attenborough and the BBC. But people are beginning to wise up and use common sense to realise that this is one of the biggest cons in history.
