The USA and the settler colony of Israel has started a war with Iran

And the rest is just an opinion,
what war?
Why is it the US responsible to keep the straight of Hurmuz open? Is it a sea war in the straight of hurmuz?
Lol. And what is the job of the US military?
Yes, the world is aware, I hope, of what was possible in the straight of Hurmuz.
The US may get 2 oil tanker through the straight a day. It not other countries escorting them.
No, The Big guy in office didn’t say please come help, he said your oil requires your protection. Good luck😂

Lol, france gets 23% of their energy from renewable energy. So, they should be advising the UK on how to do things since the UK gets 50% from renewable energy. Everyone say “Thank you France”.

I know, right. Once something is destroyed it can’t be rebuilt.

Or maybe it was rebuilt.

The IRGC is using small boat drones, jet skis in some cases, and mines to achieve a disproportionate impact. You don’t need a specialised warship to lay mines; a rowing boat can do it, depending on the mine.” Mines are now being dropped in the water in the Strait of Hormuz by IRGC small boats, the US has confirmed. Many are being kept in the equivalant of peoples garages. Some ruddy war.

it’s going to be another Vietnam.

What makes me laugh it that Trump alienates all its friends and allies then expects them to provide warships to open the Straits of Hormuz.

Not going to happen, we’ll have fuel rationing like the 1970s first.

It is very evident that Trump says such things either because he is very stupid or because he thinks people listening to him are very stupid. But you do not have to join in with such stupidity. The straights are closed because Iran says it will attack any ship going through the straights. Iran said that this would one of its actions if any the US attacked it, this was made clear long before this war. Trump should have known this. Trump would have known this. But Trump decided to launch his war on Iran anyway. If Trump had not launched this war then Iran would not be threatening shipping in the straights. So Iran closing the straights is 100% the fault of Trump. How much more clear is the US responsibility here? Unless you stupidly believe everything Trump says.

American ships are get through. Let’s talk about the air space too.

Other countries are not escorting their oil ships, probably scared or afraid of Iran. Those other countries ships are not supporting the US, so why would Iran attack them? Is it because Iran is a peaceful country? If so why worry about Iran attacking their ships?

And like you said, Iran will attack any ships pass through the the straight. With that, Iran is threatening every country! Sounds like a peace loving country to some people.

Lol, it Trump’s fault because Iran is attacking all shipping. Ok, that make sense. Would it be ok if the US attacked all the ships coming through the straight?

How much oil do you suppose it takes to make wind turbine and keep it running?
And 20 year old turbines will need to be replaced now anyway.
Are you aware that some remote turbines are not even connected up yet, and those that are have to be closed down if they produce too much electricity, the national grid can’t cope.
Quote Wiki…
Wind Power

You will need to fill the countryside with solar panels (no room for any people) to produce enough electricity to supply the grid in the summer when everyone is out using their gas barbies and we don’t need it.
A solar panel only produces maximum power in the sunshine, it will only produce a percentage of that on a cloudy day. And from October to March the nights are longer than the days.
One heavy hailstone shower will destroy all the glass panels…Incidentally, how do we make glass again?
Perhaps if the governments had kept coal (which is still under the ground in Yorkshire and Tyneside no need to ship it half way around the world)) and gas power stations running until an alternative power supply was found and put money into alternative power more slowly so as not to make the consumer pay a kings ransom for energy, and also realise the drawbacks of so called ‘sustainable’ energy, we might not be in the mess that we find ourselves in now.
Plenty of oil under the North sea but miliband capped off the wells…
Perhaps to avoid using the Straits of Hormuz we might consider asking Putin if he’ll let us have some of his…

So what you are saying is that the US has kicked the vicious tiger to get it really angry and keeps poking the tiger so it is lashing out at everything nearby… Lucky for the US and anything US in the area the US has amassed lots of weapons so its protected from the tiger. There are stuff that’s from other countries in the area but the US just says “sort yourselves out against the tiger, not my problem”. This is of course sh*te. It is 100% a US created problem. Trump knew that Iran would hit out other countries to create a massive global problem. And that is what Iran has done - as you note it is not a nice regime. And Trump knew this but still attacked. So the problem for other countries has completely been created by the US. The US needs to sort it out and sort it out for everyone.

the trouble with solar panels is that there are specific rare earth minerals or metals essential for the tech, the supply of which China more or less globally controls. We need to focus on building emergency nuclear power stations pronto. None of this years and years of gravy train nonsense.

Yes, I agree with you Annie, however, it takes roughly ten years to build a nuclear power station and aren’t the French building ours with Chinese money? So don’t expect cheaper electricity… :009:

Nuclear Power Stations

2030 then Annie, I’ll be 80 years old then…
It looks like they’re kicking wind and solar into the long grass, but I don’t think we will see cheaper electricity in my lifetime…

Posters on here really must believe that the 991 squadron and the 31st MEU units are a bunch of no-hopers like the UK.

Wow, is this, what is called gaslighting? Please provide a quote of anything that even implied that.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but your rambling make absolutely no sense.
Let’s see if I can figure out the nonsense! Lucky for the US that it has enough logistics to protect itself but is wrong because other countries don’t have the logistics to protect themselves. Really?
Since Russia invaded Ukraine, Russia has the right to attack the rest of Europe because Europe supplies weapons to Ukraine, to be used against Russia???

It’s “not a nice regime”,:joy: was north Korea a nice regime? Was Iraq a nice regime? Was Palestine a nice regime? Can’t see the logic in that!

If Biden was still in office, well he did, give Iran Billions in frozen assets, or maybe that even gave Iran a full supply of military equipment, like Afghanistan. But, there is a new sheriff in town. America first, and let everyone else do the same. Put their country first. That’s up to them. Good luck:joy::shushing_face:

No, that is not what gaslighting is.

It is just you. Try reading it again but more slowly.

What Trump is doing is not putting America first or allowing other countries to put their own interests first. Trump is putting Israel first. Trump is trying to drag other countries into a war he created on behalf of Israel.
None of your post makes any sense. No-one reading your attempts to defend Trump’s action against Iran will be convinced of your argument. Just you (and a the few folk left who after seeing Trump break one promise after another still put on the silly maga hat).

Other countries are just waiting for the midterms - not long now!

Hi

Don’t hold your breath Annie.

Trump does not obey the USA Constitution.

He is a megalomaniac who does not obey rules.

Even now he is setting up the means to control the media and free press.

He has threatened Allies including NATO.

We need to move on , very quickly.

It can be done, but not with Starmer, he reacts, he does not proact.

The only good thing is that he isn’t getting any younger.

Norfolk Island might be a good idea.

It honestly surprises me, how many well versed and military strategists there are here. One that seem to be very well versed in American law. It ready convince others of useless opinions. Don’t want to surprise anyone but Trump will be president and still have the same power. It doesn’t matter how many votes other countries vote for. They are only counted if it’s a close race.

The arm chair warriors that have never seen or even participate in military strategy. But still they know better. It just doesn’t change. Some of our states have a larger military force than most countries.

Lol, what is NATO without the US.
Trump has done so much and if he makes a mistake he adapts to the change. Like the Tariff, the Supreme Court said he could not do but pointed out he can charge more under another ruling. So, yes he was wrong but now can charge foreign countries more. Win win situation.
