The UK government, led by business secretary Kemi Badenoch, has been trying to finalise a new trade agreement with Israel throughout its invasion of Gaza.
The latest ā and fifth ā round of negotiations between officials of the two countries began on 8 April.
That was just seven days after three British aid workers were killed by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in Gaza.
Barkat called Badenoch āa true friend of the state of Israelā and said that they had been working āvery creatively together.ā He added that āthe agreement being formed with Britain is expected to be the largest, most comprehensive and most modern for the State of Israelā.

Palestinian lorry drivers delivering aid to Gaza have described to the Guardian[ābarbaricā scenesā after their vehicles came under, claiming that Israeli soldiers escorting the convoy did nothing to intervene.
Yazid al-Zoubi, 26, a Palestinian lorry driver who was attacked by the protesters last week at Tarqumiya checkpoint, said: āThere is full cooperation between the settlers and the army. We are shocked and surprised that the army did not provide us with any kind of protection. Even though they were present and watching what was happening. The army was at the service of the settlers.ā

At 11mins 50secs. It shows a leaked video of Netanyahu. Heās talking to a bunch of settlers, then he calls for the camera to be switched off. The cameraman duly does this, but unbeknownst to Netanyahu, he switches it back on straight away. Then you see Netanyahu telling the settlers that heās deliberately sabotaged the Oslo peace talks. Heās never wanted peace, or any kind of workable solution.

Israel is actively starving Gazaās population by denying it food, water and aid. That is a power ā a genocidal one ā Hamas could only ever dream of.
- Israel has been forcibly removing Palestinians from their lands for more than 76 years to build illegal Jewish settlements in their place. Hamas has not been able to ethnically cleanse a single Israeli, nor build a single Palestinian settlement on Israeli land.
