Yet, as far as I recall, she was a happy soul. Mischievous at times though.

I can understand how you would miss having a dog Mav, I don’t ever want to be without a dog in my life. When Kodi died my house felt dead, the new pup brought life back to our house.

Thank you good people! I know I am biased - yes, he is handsome and smart. But, for me, it is is his lovely temperament.

So the day has arrived for his op and he’s not a happy bunny with having no breakfast but needs must I suppose. It’ll be a long day for us of worry and then for guilt for putting him through it, so fingers crossed :crossed_fingers: for a good result. Roll on teatime when we can pick him back up…

Hi everyone, Alfie update…

Alfie is home now and still very dopey from the anaesthetic, but at least he is here and the worst is over. He’s had a little bit to eat but we’ll try him with a little more later.

He had his procedures this morning and the lump came out OK, but they thought it looked cancerous and they couldn’t be sure that they got it all as it was very close to his urinary tract, so had to be very careful and therefore couldn’t dig too deep. Worrying for the future yes, but we’ll just have wait and see what that brings and deal with it then.

He also had two small front teeth removed but some good news all his molars were fine so that’s a relief anyway, he so loves to gnaw on bones, and the other good news is that they don’t need to see him again unless we are worried about anything such as the wound looking infected… no stitches to remove as they were all internal…

Just so pleased it is over and he is back with us safe and sound…

Thank you all for your good wishes.
