Think one of my friends was having me on saying that Keith Lemon was on the show-he knows I can’t abide the man!
I’v just seen the list of professional dancers and I notice Iveta Lukosiute isn’t on this year, I always love it when they say her name.
The Strictly ‘Launch’ show starts tonight at 7.15pm!
The 15 celebrities will be introduced to their professional partners - I always enjoy this part as I like to look at the faces of the celebs to see their reactions to who they are partnered with.
I really hope Anton will be matched with someone who will give him chance to show his talent for a change.
Better find something else to do thie evening. This is a “Strictly” free zone.
We’re thoroughly sick of sitting down to watch a show of cheering , screaming, clapping and moronic jokes, only to have it spoiled by people trying to dance :twisted:

I will have to keep the sound right down during the actual dancing though, as I just cannot stick the audience yelling and shouting, thereby ruining the music, and the singer singing

I thought it was a fun start tonight, I enjoyed it anyway.
Did anyone see that bloke in the paper, forgot his name, who was moaning about being turned down for Strictly? He says they turned him down because he was adamant he would only dance as long as he had a male dance partner.
He said Strictly is “behind the times” by not allowing Gays dancing together in the competition.
Can I ask what others think, without provoking another argument?

I can’t stand Tess D she spoils it for me with her inane attempts at humor, I wish she had gone along with Bruce.
I don’t like having a special programme to introduce partners either. I am sure that used not to happen and wish they would just get on with it .
Must say that in spite of my moans, I did enjoy the program.
BUT, the audience was rather quieter than usual.
But don’t forget alot of them are family or friends of the contestants, so of course they will be cheering them on. If we were in the audience and our friend was performing, I am sure we would do the same.
I can also understand why they boo old Revel-Horwood when he’s rude to people as well.
Glad that Anton’s got a partner than can move this year!

Yes, pleased it looks like Anton has a fair chance this year and with someone who has a sense of humour, so they should get along well together.
Loved it last night and very glad we have to wait 3 weeks as we are without a TV when we go away next weekend for our 2 week holiday. No phones or computers either so won’t be able to catch up at all.
I did enjoy the first programme and I too am glad that Anton has got someone who can at least move.
Mups I think it is because the American dancing programme has started allowing same sex partners for the dancing. So of course they were going to ask about it for Strictly.
I know I shouldn’t say it but not sure on this one, but I suppose if it happens will get used to it.
I think that could be interesting to see and possibly a great new twist on the show.
