Statistics…are they in every house where some woman are abused, …which is never reported…you know what they can do with statistics.

Red herring .
This is was not a BLM protest
It was not black against white .
We must not support the police when they act inappropriately.
Thei is the U.K. we don’t want a police state .
It was a police officer remember who sparked this entire situation and he’s not alone there have been many occasions of police sexual harassment against women .
We only have to look at the entire grooming scandal of underage females all by ‘Asian’ gangs . These inncidents were reported to the police over years and were ignored and there was no covid excuse then.
There is a tradition of toxic male discrimination against women in the police .
The failure of the police to accommodate the need for women to hold a vigil was profoundly wrong, Covid or not.

Of course nothing goes under the radar of these so called statistics…

For two days now this picture has been headlined by the BBC, I bet the photographer couldn’t believe his luck…:surprised:
Now tell me that the media are not whipping up a storm by their biased reporting…Was that the only picture they had?

It’s being highlighted…about time too!!..

Well thought out Twink .
Some people get far too emotional .

I call it empathy.:-D…not emotional.

Yes I am a person of emotion and compassion emotions make us human not robots
Unfortunately Zuleika you are a woman who hates other women .
Hence your inclination to victim blaming .

Your thinking is all wrong Muddy .
You would have kept your distance ?Did you not notice how close these shouting ,screaming women were to each other and you think you would have been able to put a spare mask on had you got caught up with them ?
Besides which they were all breaking lockdown rules .

Wrong again that because you’ve been vaccinated you’re not likely to die of covid. As you’ve remarked many times you’re old and no one knows which mutation will be clever enough to bypass the current vaccines .
More to the point to add to Twink’s reasoning what would your family have thought had you been arrested?
Keep yourself and them safe !
Incidentally did you go to a vigil in your town ?

Your opinion nothing else .
I live in a small village we are miles from the nearest town but there were vigils held all over the country without incident

Why shouldn’t they post this why was it biased if it happened it happened .

Kate Middleton wasn’t at that demonstration Pauline.
She paid her respects by what could have bee termed “ daily exercise” around the Common’s bandstand area where the condolence flowers were placed .

Ah,ok…but there were a lot of people there…I watched it on YouTube…plus she never wore a mask…but understand what you are saying…I have completely lost track, haven’t read the whole thread…will go back to the beginning to catch up…

There’s a difference . Empathy can be expressed in a quiet manner . Emotions , running high such as were displayed that night and with disregard to the lockdown can be dangerous .
Some of these women want to be seen getting manhandled by police make no mistake , it adds to their cause .

You don’t know what she terms daily excercise you are making it up as you go along .

How do you know ?
You are a woman who has issues with women especially young women . That is your problem not theirs .

Australia has held demonstrations too thousands of women have turned out .
The difference is the police were not man handling them to the ground .

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-australia-56397170

You don’t see the way it influences how “some “ people think police handle situations ? Cherrypicking one incident is biased reporting .

It’s called freedom of the press.

Is there a point to that silly remark ? I was explaining to Pauline who was complaining …no I’ll rephrase that…pointing out that KM was at the vigil and without a mask , that her being there could have come under “ daily exercise” much as the other people being there.
