I didnāt enjoy the game, but I have to say that S. Africa played the strongest.
Sadly every point was scored by penalty for the first 66 mins, so not the sort of game I like to watch.
Anyway I do think that Japan presented the tournament well & South Africa were worthy winners.

I didnāt see this because I turned off straight away. Iām not sticking up for them (if they were being bad losers) but was it because they thought they were not worthy of the medal seeing as they didnāt play that well?

Having said that, if, before the tournament began, someone had said that England would be finalists, I would have been ecstatic. Brilliant World Cup!
Ah well - at least my team Saracens now contains a 2019 Rugby World Cup winner - Vincent Koch. Now letās see them beat London Irish this afternoon!

There are no excuses, any real rugby supporter always acknowledges that the team that won was the better team on the day.
I would like to mention though, that England performed the best, from all UK teams that played in the tournament,ā¦ that is why we managed second place!
