Rishi Sunak and Sajid Javid quit Cabinet in wake of Chris Pincher row

I’ve lost several Cabinets lately but, know where they are.

Got to dispose of them at some point.

Hi

Things go on, we now have a total of 10 Tory MPs resigning their posts in Government.

These include the Solicitor General.

Boris has also lost two Ethics Advisors and not yet found a third.

Boris has not resigned, which is unprecedented , if he continues as PM it means a divided Governing Party, a drawn out battle, which is not what we need at the moment.

Those who continue to support him are misjudging things, people are fed up with being treated like idiots and being lied to.

This is as much a warning for Labour as it is for the Tories.

How are we better off ?

How long can this clown of a PM keep going ?
We need a leader with at least a modicum of moral rectitude.

I think this clown will keep going for as long as Carrie tells him to. He seems utterly incapable of making any meaningful decisions by himself.

I don’t think I’ve ever been this embarrassed to be British.

I agree, Sheba…he is still going ahead with the QT later today. I really don’t know where he gets the gall from. :woman_shrugging:

Folks wanted to recognize themselves in their politicians, now they are, they don’t like what they see!!!

Turn up for the books Nadhim Zahawi, Chancellor

Apparently He as been accused threatening to resign if he didn’t get the job. If true that’s charming he should fit in nicely.

The snake pit is really writhing this morning !!

Two rats leaving the sinking ship with lots of money in the bank.
They can afford to resign.

Ships leaving a sinking rat closer to the truth.

I bet Chris Pincher didn’t realise that he would bring down half the cabinet when he fondled a couple of blokes…
Perhaps all those who have resigned were fondled too and are coming out in sympathy with Chris because they were flattered and enjoyed it…
Oh my! What have I inferred…
:face_with_hand_over_mouth:

I’ll bet it is …

Lots of high placed politicians spouting in the media about what british
citizens want or expect of politicians ???
How do they know what we think ?

Aye its a bit late now to be thinking about us, isn’t it? They have been too busy serving their own interests and now its going belly up, they are all “Ohh we need to do what the public expects of us” Well if they had thought of that in the very first place, we wouldn’t be in this mess!

Hi

It hasn’t been a they, it has been a him, Boris, a one man show.

It really has been a show, sheer force of personality, ruthlessness and a disregard for normal standards.

A Brilliant orator and campaigner, but there it stopped.

He did his job, promised the Earth with Brexit and a huge majority at the Election.

He has to go and this is an opportunity for the new leader to put things right.

A difficult job, but there are pragmatic things that can be done to get us out of the mess we are in and on the road to a better future.

Hi Swimmy
I agree that Boris is the ringleader in all this, but they all knew what he was like and were happy to go along with him as long as it suited them. I honestly don’t know who could possibly lead now, because by default whoever it will be, is going to be smeared by Boris’s reputation.
