You haven’t explained anything. You have told us to look online, and I can’t find anything exceptional that makes him a “hero” other than his being in the navy during WW2.
Perhaps my search engine (google) has some kind of block which prevents anything coming up. Which one are you using?

Sorry, I can find much about him that makes him a “ hero” in my eyes…
Try searching harder, but you won’t see, what you don’t want to see, as of to why he’s a “ hero”…
Your definition of a hero…conflicts with my definition.of a hero.
Not sure why that’s funny:confused: In your view, what makes someone a hero? If you could tell us that much at least, then we’ll be able to see for ourselves how the evidence fits it.
Not asking you to prove anything, or if anything fits. Just asking for your view on what you think makes someone a hero. No clever wordsmithery involved.
Have googled his “heroism” and his ww2 naval achievements come up, but nothing relating to anything before nor since.
Well that was interesting! Seeing the ‘enthusiastic’. attitudes of both sides of the argument from my viewpoint of seeing the royal idea as an anachronism left over from medieval times. It reflects on the system not the individuals who are entrapped in it.
The incredible pressure of being perhaps the most famous couple in the world, they have come through stronger than ever after 73 years of marriage.
The royal family themselves are in control of their own destiny. Prince Charles is more opinionated, and William may not be satisfied to remain silent. Both have a tough act to follow.
By the start of the twenty-first century, most European countries had ceased to be monarchies, and three quarters of the member states of the European Union are now republics. That has led to a teleological assumption that in time most advanced democracies will become republics, as the highest form of democratic government.
But there is a stubborn group of countries in Western Europe which defy that assumption, and they include some of the most advanced democracies in the world. In the most recent Democracy Index compiled by the Economist Intelligence Unit, six out of the top ten democracies – and nine of the top 15 – in the world were monarchies. They include six European monarchies: Norway, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and the UK.
Maybe, his parents should have retired earlier but it seems like his inheritance of the title has been thwarted.
If he’s made king, then it’s come a bit late in his life for him to enjoy it fully.
He’s had a long time enjoying his job as Prince of Wales. Doesn’t really matter if his final few years aren’t as vibrant and lovely as they might have been if he’d been bethroned younger.
