Planes Bikes and Automobiles

Love this! Hope you and your lad have a wonderful adventure!

Thanks Pixie, got to be careful, to the family we are known as the Chuckle Brothers. :biking_man:

Just been on the Saracen, its going to need new forks, they are starting to rattle. A beautiful day out, had to take the Saracen, the Bomber and the Sur-ron attract a bit of negative response when there are a lot of people about, on days like this.

Went to the Canal.

And the Lakes.

Happy adventures Spitty, it all looks great fun.

What kind of negative response? How dare people comment harshly on people having a day out on their bikes. Unless of course, you are knocking them all over like bowling pins!

Thanks Barry, best when there is no one about, hostile stares Pixie, even though I come to a complete halt for some folks, think they see them as motorcycles all be it silent, on the footpaths

Pfft! Maybe you should “vrooooom vrooooom” them as you go by, that would startle them!

A unknown Guy in the village shop asked me tonight about the Bomber. :biking_man:

Sur ron is in for rectification on Monday, the supplier put me in touch with a specialist just 22 miles away so, can probably borrow a van for that distance. Part of the problem pedestrians are always a bit hostile is, in pursuance of road safety, the headlight is permanently on, so, you stand out like a beacon. I have bought a plug and play switch from the US of A which enables the light to be switched off.

All are fully charged, Son is back tomorrow, will be buggering off somewhere. :biking_man:

Son has had to go somewhere so I did 12 miles on the Saracen, its just about to click 70 miles on the odometer, and the battery had its initial charge and a top up from half, and is still on 5 bars, so I know iI can go at least 12 miles on the outward journey and still be on full battery.

@spitfire Impressive battery life Spitty, all downhill was it… :rofl:r

Just shows what power to weight counts for Barry, this probably has a better range than the two Electric Motorbikes. :biking_man:

Just done a 43 minute GoPro video but for some reason, the GoPro cuts at 17 minutes and starts again so, its turned one 43 minute video into two 17 minute-ers and a 9 minute-er, not sure how to unite them for Youtube. :biking_man:

Just been out to get some air in the pipes, up to 87 miles now, one full charge one half charge, still showing 4 bars (3 under heavy load), so I will charge again at 100 miles.

Middle of nowhere and a dedicated Bench.

Not sure who Jeff Swain was.

Stats.

@spitfire Good to see you enjoying the fruits of your labours Spitty. :+1:

Got to the 100 Miles today, so the full charge and the part charge have cost what seems to be £0.38p, just think £0.38P to go from Birmingham to London (providing you don’t gun it). :biking_man:

Just been out with the Son for a thrash about, the Bomber was always intended for him.

Just made the plywood template for the mounting bracket for the rear lights/indicators for the Bomber, it will be fabricated today in aluminium, a motorcycle headlight has been purchase because it comes with brackets for the front indicators.

Hey ho, you know what they say Spitty, a man’s work is never done…
