JC they’re selling electric scooters in my little old post office now - wot is the world comin too!

Problems problems, this photo is of the new super-dooper 200 amp controller, it is sitting on the top of the bomber frame, but the width of the mounting plate is exactly the same as the external width of the frame hence it will not fit internally into the frame.

So the natural place for it is externally (same position as the white bomber one) on the frame riser but, the heavy duty cable from the rea wheel is not long enough to reach the controller.

Nothing is ever straight forward.

Decision made; controller mounted externally now just gotta get some cable extensions made, I ain’t messing about with these volts and amps involved.

I need a car to compliment the van so, I spotted a nice Mondeo Estate on Ebay, diid my usual VOSA MOT history check, it had done 100000 miles in its first three years of life, progressing to 302000 miles at the last MOT. The add said 130000 miles so, I phoned the dealer up and mentioned this fact to him to which he replied “VOSA must have made a mistake” yeah all right, one mistake for every one of the last 11 years.

Got my replacement Mondeo, got it a good bit cheaper because of a dent in the drivers wing, just been on Ebay and paid £40.00 for a replacement bolt on body color wing so quids in.

Watched a video on Youtube of a geezer walking the Heart of England Way, so, when I’ve got a few days off over the Christmas period, weather permitting, I am going to do the journey on the Saracen and record it on the GoPro. It’s 100 miles so I will do it in around 10 mile chunks.

Oooh are you camping out? Oh wait…you can’t do that in England now can you.

Don’t forget your fairy lights :joy:

I ain’t that keen, I’m close enough to the Heart of England to return home between sessions. :articulated_lorry: :bike:

This is where you miss the point Mr Bud, that is a Leccy means of transport, albeit a very fast one, one could not blend in on the towpath on one of those, or mingle with the folks at a visitor attraction on a sunny blighty day, the ex thrill of striking a ton on a petrol or leccy machine no longer matters, the ability to have ample power and “Go Anywhere” does, each to their own at what ever stage of their passage through this existence.
