Yes it looks a bit too energetic, even for me :astonished: Especially if you were cycling downhill…eek!

Do your bikes come in any colour you like, so long as its black? I mean, I could daub some paint on it if you wanted it some unique flair :joy:

100kph wow Ive been watching both the sur-ron and the Talaria both fantastic and amazing how technology has forwarded so will watch out for your progress Interestingly my grandfathers old bike is getting rebuilt it is a BSA B31 first new on 1956 My grandfather bought it second hand for £40 in 1963 the year me and on of my cousins were born, It was on Arran from then till this year and my cousin is working on it now I wonder how many vehicles will survive longer than the owner Cheers

Hi Caveman, I have a 1998 Honda cb750 which I am considering selling to fund the battery for this bomber. the Sur ron and the Talaria both come from the same designer I think and are Ok but after spending £4799.00 on one, to get anywhere near the on-road performance of the 12KW bomber you would need to spend another £3500 taking you to £8300, The bomber cam be built for around £4300 so, quite a saving.

What a tragic accident. Happened earlier this month.

Yes I saw this Minx, the problem with incidents like this and the one at Shoreham 2015 is that safety gets reviewed again and again at shows, for example, the crowd line gets pushed further back and, friendly farmers who used to let some of their fields out for folks who did not want to pay the main show prices were banned from doing so.

Do you remember I had to get the swing arm widened to accommodate this motor well, whilst fitting it I came across a problem, the axle where it slides into the swing arm is flat on two sides to correspond with the flats on the location slots these flats on the axle protrude about 15mm from the hub itself, problem is the thickness of the swing arm at this point is about 7mm which means when tightening the securing nuts the thread stops short of the swing arm so, I have had to insert 4 M20 washers to make the distance up, this seems a bit bonkers.

Yes I can see…it’s taking extra steps to rectify a design fault that didn’t need to happen. Still, if you made it work then hooray!

Trouble is Pix, I have lots of spares from building the white bomber but, because that is an 8kw motor the axle is 18mm diameter and I have a couple of 18mm spacers, because this motor is 12kw everything is heavier duty and the axle on this motor is 20mm diameter now, at Screwfix you can’t just buy a pack of 5 m20 washers you have to buy 50 @ £9.99, used 4 so got 46 spare.

Blimey, so you can’t buy them individually? £10 for 4 washers, effectively…jeez, thats steep.

Washers are used (unconventionally) in arts, crafts, and jewellery making. I’m sure you’ll find a use for them somewhere…! :joy:

Would like to see some pics of your Honda 750 sometimes From my ERA
