He may well of thought I was casing the joint, spose they can’t be too careful these days.

Blimey I hope that’s not the case…:open_mouth: So you haven’t had contact for a week now? And no bike? Jeez, that’s pretty scary. Hope it turn out well and you get your money back at least, Spitty :frowning:

I sent a mail everyday for the four day mandatory period, requesting collection address, I then Via Ebay requested my money back. The transaction then disappeared from my purchase history and Ebay said, if there is no reimbursement by the 23rd, they will take action. Ok, if the seller was peeved with the final value, they should have returned the payment forthwith.

Oh I agree. That’s shoddy behaviour! They should have cancelled the sale as being unfit or whatever, then repaid you immediately. So how long are you expected to wait until this refund goes through from Ebay?

I’ve bid on another that ends tomorrow, so, the sooner the better.

450 miles on the clock which equates as Birmingham to Inverness.

You might be able to see in this photo the spokes starting to curve because of the torque from the motor, this will need re-lacing with better quality spokes.

Won the other Bike, lets hope there are no problems, might be wise to pay cash on collection

Are you able to do the spokes, Spitty?
And any luck with the other bike, or is that still no contact yet?

No Pix, wheel lacing is a bit specialized, I had the Bomber front wheel built by a specialist, the company is very busy and it took a month to get done, but, that did not matter because the bike was still under construction. I would not want to be without a working bike for that period, so, I will have to shop around to find out who can do it the quickest.
I don’t expect to hear from the seller of the first bike, if there was going to be contact, it would have happened by now, I’ll just have to wait until Tuesday and get Ebay to step in.

Got the refund this morning.

Oh well done! I’m glad for you…was there any explanation from the seller at all?

I think the rebate was done by Ebay/PayPal. I will just watch the members account and see what happens.

I rather think that if he had anything to say, he would have done so by now. I just thought he might have been nudged into an apology by the refund leaving his bank…clearly not! :joy:

Wrapped myself up nice and warm only to find that Saracens slow front tyre puncture has become a fast one, so, not wanting to de-togg I grabbed the Sur ron and headed for what I call the humps, but when I reached the trail, the Park Warden in his Leccy 4X4 was there so that put paid to that, had to stick to the trails where the dog walkers are in abundance on a Sunday and ended up watching the sailing boats.

.

Off to Halfords now to get a new innertube. :biking_man:

I like how you think on your feet (or pedals!) :+1: Also…what’s that yellow things in the water?

They yellow things are the buoys the sailing boats have to navigate around, just got back from Halfords, two minute job on the front wheel, it took an hour on the back one a couple of weeks ago because of the motor.

So are you off somewhere tomorrow?

There is about two inches of Snow here at the moment, don’t think there is much chance of it clearing overnight unfortunately.

Ahh…ok then. Time to get yer skates on, eh? :joy:

The snow plays havoc with the work schedule, don’t think there will be any any leisure time for the next couple of days.

Consider them rest days then…in for a penny, in for a pound. :+1:
