‘Isle of Man sighting is down to a natural phenomenon’

Conditions were perfect at sunset last night to see the Isle of Man from the Fleetwood coastlineThe Isle of Man 'bumps' snapped from Fleetwood. Photo courtesy of HarrietThe Isle of Man ‘bumps’ snapped from Fleetwood.

An orange sky and wind turbines gave way to the peaks of the Isle of Man on the horizon - a phenomenon that only occurs when the conditions are absolutely right, making it a rare and striking feature.
PS. The IOM is “65 Miles” from the English Lancashire coastline.

Yes, wisteria is so beautiful but very invasive. I had to remove it (took ages) as it was eating up my wall which I had to have partially rebuilt!

Sorry, no we didn’t. We were nowhere near Flam and there were no excursion to it, although it would have been nice to do it.

A Plane was moved from Shannon airport to a flying museum easiest way was to float it on a barge down the river it was some 10 years ago, but these photos i took at the time just showed up on my facebook memories. thought i would share them here.
