Got around to tidying up the garden…
looks good Mart
What time do you want us over for the barbecue, Mart? I’ll bring dessert.
Looks heavenly!
Thanks - It was hard work. The trouble with gardens is that they look good for a while and two weeks later, they have to be done all over again.
you mean yours lasts two weeks, what the secret
I’m having chickpeas right now, with spicy mushrooms and peppers, a bit of salad on the side, glass of red…lovely!
Is that butterfly bush you have in the vase?
I try to ignore it.
Your garden looks immaculate, Mart!
Very neat & tidy. Nice layout too with that arch leading through to somewhere mysterious.
Nothing mysterious there d00d. A brick built room, sheds and a polytunnel. I keep it wild beyond the arch as much as possible. Good for insects and any other wildlife that might take up residence there.
Mmm! Sounds delicious Pixie, I’ve never tried spicy mushrooms before, must give it a go🤤
Yep, that’s buddleia, makes a terrific garden plant as long as you cut it back hard each year.
Excellent pic. Nicely caught.
Went to Guildford on Tuesday. It was very hot. A few photos from a day.
Guildford Castle grounds looking as good as previous years…
A riverside pub (River Wey)…
I expect you could get a pot of porridge here in days gone by…
I think one of those houses is where Lewis Carroll lived (Alice in Wonderland author)…
love it, thanks
cuties they are
Came across this in my travels last week.
