Seen better days
Have you tried that with, say, the Panasonic 12-60mm f/2.8-4
Does anything change, noticeably, as the aperture changes? Light?
The above video shows the background getting more blurry, but it’s a smooth gradual process.
dood
no need to use that lens as I use my panasonic HC-X1500 camcorder for video work
A little “dark ages” analogue photography
Taken at Saint Nicholas churchyard in Arundel West Sussex. I was using Ilford Delta 3200 film, very noisy with the pronounced tabular grain, people tend to love it or loathe it, I love it! The crucifixion scene is at the very end of a footpath between the church and the tombstones. It really does stop you in your tracks, quite compelling!
In my opinion this film works beautifully with weathered stone, more challenging with shiny marble for example when it tends to overly accentuate areas where sunlight is bouncing off
This I like, the sky was bland on that particular day, like tupperware. It seems that blue skies and cloud are forecast for Monday
I’m intending to go back and use a red filter as oppose to a yellow. This’ll give me a dark sky with the white clouds standing out, really adding drama and poinyancy!
Some amazing shots there Chilli, with very interesting and thought provoking subject matter…

Thank you Foxy! ![]()
Yes, I don’t always go for the “cheery” stuff.
Strange how on the one hot sunny day of the year you could hear the constant sound of jet engines, and dust appeared on the roof of my motor after only just cleaning it…
Since then cloud has obscured the sun with wall to wall greyness… ![]()
That’s excellent Graham. Was it in some kind of bird sanctuary?
Yes it was. They look after rescue owls, hawks, eagles as well as assorted reptiles.
Another pic I took at the bird sanctuary in the reptile house, whilst messing with various camera settings. This came out remarkably sharp considering it was shot through smeary glass. This is a Common Green Iguana.
Wow, that is sharp!
