Fraid not Feey!
A gentleman would have offered to give her a jolly good paddling…
The end of the garden. The room is now finished, painted inside and furnished. Just needs some plants to take hold again. It will be a while I expect. The finishing of the ‘end of the garden’ project was delayed because the fence panels on the right needed replacing. They had done well with a 25 year life but had their day. Difficult to replace some of them because of all the greenery that I wanted to preserve. A bit of cooperation needed between me and the neighbour. Some of the panels were changed from their garden
That looks great!
And good to get cooperation from the neighbour.
I could see he was struggling trying to make the old fence look OK, so I did the decent thing and bought/fitted the new panels. We always got on well anyway but the saying ‘good fences make good neighbours’ can be true. They were well pleased.
Excellent job Mart…I would be well chuffed with that…
Unfortunately, my garden is about the size of a large postage stamp since we had a summer house.
@mart I had a look and it looks so lovely and peaceful. You have done a wonderful job finishing that room and keeping the greenery. It feels like such a calm spot to enjoy.
incredible photo taken during hurricane erin swell in lahinch county clare photo captured by friend of mine
Just brilliant Feey…
Ain’t it just?
Reminds me of Hawaii 5-O and Old Spice ads.
I was shopping at a local retail outlet here on the south coast, which also happens to be the launch of the Clipper Round The World Yacht Race. I had no idea this was going on beforehand and I didn’t have my ‘real’ camera with me (I couldn’t have used it even if I had it), but I managed to grab a quick snap with my mobile.
A great shot anyway Graham…
Love her Spitty…

Some photos of our day trip to Sorrento and Capri.
Sorrento
“The valley of the mills” , no access, can only be admired from above (ruins of wheat-mill, saw-mill and wash-house, constructed in 1600s).
Quite a spectacular sight standing on that bridge looking down!
Stunning views
