Photos to share anybody?

I’m just wondering if they would be sufficient to do any good for long periods in the event of a power failure Bruce?

There is a company who want to build a massive battery storage system just outside our village.
Allegedly the biggest such installation in England thus far. I attended the meeting of residents and received a load of technical spec from the potential constructor.
They would be charged from solar panel farms (daylight permitting) and wind turbines (wind permitting) and would supply the power for 30,000 homes for one hour…But they didn’t mention if this would be in the winter or summer. I suspect that’s the best scenario.

We have used them from to time but project above is 50Hz 110AC.

After the excitement generated by my mower oil change in between showers I took some photos of it in all its accessarised glory. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Completely naked.

With a catcher

With its (expensive) thrower attachment. From what I remember it cost me $30 a decade or more ago.

Basically just throws the grass out the side - the device I use most of the time.

looks like you still have to push it ?

Oh yes! Gotta get some exercise.

Don’t know OGF, but I suspect that is not its purpose.

However I must ask my daughter how long hers can supply the house in the event of an outage. Good Question

Did you mean that you were completely naked when you took the photo Bruce…
:open_mouth:
Whatever did the neighbours think?

No, it is winter, far too cold to frolic about naked especially today - 16° max, no worries with the neighbours I have a 183cm fence all round

The top of the mower is fine but as you saw underneath is a different matter, the motor always outlasts the chassis.

yes I have been messing about yet again
This time taking a photo from 65ft (20 mtrs) away. So what I used as the light is fading @8-30pm I set up a wireless remote Godox V860iii flashgun to shine in the bush stem . Using my panasonic G9 and the Godox X2T transmitter on the camera and the 100-400mm (200-800 in FF terms) at 400mm hand held.

Then editing it to get this.

First time with this lens under these conditions so happy with result

Forgot to say one can make a half decent photo using any subject, only need looking at, not just seeing

before the edit
