Thanks Besoeker, I ran with quite a few chaps and one or two chapeses who had completed in excess of 100 marathons. My passion was with ultra distance running, 40 - 50 and sixty miles, with the occasional 84 miler (Me and a couple of mates did the Lyke Wake race above, both ways in 30 hours) and the 110 miles that is the Cleveland Way from Helmsley to Filey Brigg.
My only foreign Marathon was the Isle of Man, and the Snowdon Marathon if you can call that a ‘Foreign Marathon’…
