Oh yes, there’s nothing like eating fruit straight off the trees. I should gather some figs, but we don’t really like them that much, it’s funny but I only eat these if I pick them straight off the trees and eat them on the spot. If I put them in in a bowl in my kitchen, they’ll just end up rotting. 
They don’t keep fresh for long anyway.

Taken during the last hot spell. A female Blackbird sunbathes on a garden table. She must enjoy it because there is plenty of shade and a birdbath just a few hops away…
