Thanks for birthday wishes. Unfortunately it’s not been the best of days. 5 weeks after losing Tarn my youngest dog, Lark, is very unwell. I was expecting the results of cytology tests today, which didn’t happen. On pins and distraught.
Oh Celyn, Lark isn’t very old is she? Whatever do you think it is? Sorry it’s happened on your birthdy too.
Overcast here atm, but the forecast is for better weather later on. The little boys are playing in a rugby tournament in Aberdare today and then it will be home for a bath and early night, school starts tomorrow. I can hardly believe the summer holidays are over…
Multifactional Lymphoma Sue. She is just 5. Her glands are very swollen throughout her body. Vet is surprised I spotted it as most owners don’t until too late. I thought her lack of eating was her usual post season, and slightly phantom pregnancy, syndrome. Can’t believe it and just praying the results will not confirm it.
Poor you Sue xxx its for a good cause though xx
Better day here with the sun trying to come out, lots of clouds up there though
I enjoyed Strictly last night but though the X Factor a lot of rubbish
only just seen your post Celyn , hope it all goes well
Should have read multifactorial lymphoma. I’m not in a good place at the moment. Too many knocks (and feeling sorry for myself)
How long will you have to wait for the results? Is there any treatment?
Happy Birthday Celyn, hope Lark is ok. Met up with my nieces yesterday and their families. It was my nephews birthday and he wanted to go ice skating they did the skating and I sat with the coats and the bags.
Had a nice surprise yesterday afternoon, son no2 arrived. He’s going to the Wales football match in Cardiff tonight so he came to spend the night with his Mam! It’s his birthday today so we’re going out for lunch
Hope it goes well for your dog- Celyn. They really cause us worry.
Good morning everybody. Raining up here this morning hairdressers for me and a trip into town for a few things.
Any news Re Lark Celyn?..you’ve certainly had a gutsfull recently…sending a (HUG)…
Off to class soon…having a lift so don’t have to worry about trains!!!
Pouring down and misty today .
I’ve been busy with the hoover so that’s my lot
Hope your doggy is ok Celynxx
The diagnosis is Multifactional Lymphoma. It’s advanced. Apart from swollen glands you would not know anything was wrong, that’s how it presents itself. Prognosis is 4 to 6 weeks, with Chemo 5 to 7 months. Michael and I in pieces just 5 weeks after losing Tarn. Lark is only 5 and was to be my old age dog. She is just perfect in every way. She has been referred to Noel Fitzpatrick’s (you’ve probably seen him as the Supervet on TV)
So sorry Celyn and Michael …
Sad news Celyn,so sorry.
Had a lovely day with son yesterday.Wales winning last night made his day complete.
Youngest grandson’s birthday today.Going to have “tea” after school. He’s having a party with his friends on Sunday.
Overcast but warmish today
I’, out for lunch today if I can get into gear lol
Very humid today…almost melted in class despite 2 fans and all the doors and windows open…!!!
Celyn sorry to hear your news, hope the super vet can help. Overcast and warm hear today and now raining.
Two wheelchair techies to visit today, one to fit new cushion and one tofit the new gas strut. Why on earth one person can’t do both is beyond me. In the past new cushions have been fitted by yours truly, so why they need to send someone from Cardiff for this one???
Lexi Missy and I have just been down the road for our walk and a lovely morning it is. Think I’ll go and strip off the bed and exercise the washing maching - again.
Lovely day here too…just as well as the carpet fitters are here and all the doors are open!..Next job is to get the satellite and tv feeds into the other room…
Now my kitchen door has been taken off cos it won’t close over the new carpet…it needs to be shaved at the bottom
