Canāt believe itās May,frosty and cold this morning.
Got a brisket of beef in the slow cooker,son no1 coming for lunch,will do extra veg so Iāll have a meal tomorrow too.
Forecast is horrendous for the Bank Holiday tomorrow.

Feeling as weak as a kitten. Did have a Weetabix and an egg yesterday but felt terrible again in the evening. have taken some tablets and Iām up and dressed this morning, but donāt know how long Iāll last! Lovely sunshine - I thought this weekend was supposed to be wet!
Its really sunny here but a nip in the air . I.ve done 2 lots of washing and most of it is dry

So far so good today. I had some cereal this morning but nothing since then except water. Think Iām better, at least no visits to the loo, but canāt fancy anything to eat.

My dear DIL is looking after me, bless her. Told her this morning I wasnāt really feeling better and she rang a friend who is also a Practise Nurse. Her husband brought me sachets of electrolytes when he came home and the reccommendation from one of the Docs in the practise is flat Coke! Managed to get one of the electrolyte draughts down (disgusting) but Iām now on the second half of the Coke. (Have never drunk the stuff in my life before, but any port in a storm).
What on earth am I going to do tomorrow without snooker???
Lovely day after the storm yesterday. I can hardly see out of my window because of the rain yesterday . Leaving them for a while in case the rain comes back

Still ropey. Made the mistake of having some porridge for breakfast but that promptly reappeared. DIL insisted I have a conflab with the Doc. Turns out heās had several similar conversations, there is a bug going round. Goodness only knows where I managed to pick it up. Anyway Iām doing all the right things - keeping hydrated and only eating dry crackers - no dairy!

Been searching for climbing roses,tried a few nurseries-none about.They blame the covid pandemic,why?Do climbing roses suffer because there are bush roses aplenty!

Granddaughter and children came yesterday so Iām recovering today!

Think Iām beginning to get back to normal, though still weak (not been eating much). However, Iām going to have a rustle in the freezer in a minute to see what I fancy for a meal later.
Had a hectic day yesterday. Rep came to demonstrate to most of the carers a new system for rolling Rob in bed. I kept out of the way for most of it as I donāt actually handle Rob much any more. Also had a visitation from the BT engineer to mend Robās phone and a friend called to collect the battery out of Robās truck to get it charged - it was as flat as a pancake. Glad to have a bit of peace and quiet today even if it is pouring.
Overcast with light showers today . It must have rained last night because it washed the storm muck off my window so I,m happy

Had a dry walk this morning but the field was muddy so had a muddy dog to rub down but he enjoyed it.

Starting to eat a bit more now. My lovely DIL brought Sunday lunch for me and I really enjoyed that. Worryingly, I still feel quite wobbly and have to keep sitting down!
Managed to get a haircut booked for tomorrow, perhaps that will buck me up.
