Heavy drizzle today.
Went shopping this morning.Friday is my usual shopping day but because I had little visitors yesterday I went today.Being a Saturday it was busier than usual even tho I went my normal early time.
Needed petrol-now £1.05,price is slowly creeping up.
Going to find a nice film to watch this afternoon.

Forecast was all wrong here. It was for rain all day so I hung the washing on the airer. Don’t think we’ve had a drop. Went to see a friend for a few minutes after lunch and came home with some lovely eggs so Rob and I had boiled eggs for tea. Delicious.
Better start to the day this morning,looking ok for the rest of the day-yesterday was a total washout.
No plans today just taking the day as it comes.

I’m not doing much either! What an uninspired trio we are.
Washing on the line and lunch is leftovers from yesterday and that’s it.
The carer who is with Rob today is getting on my nerves, I’m ashamed to say. She keeps saying “Come on Rob” when she’s coaxing him to drink - I think if she says it once more I might scream. Rant over…
After saying I wasn’t up to much today-somebody upset me on the phone so to get it out of my system I painted the gate and started painting one of the sheds!!So really that bldy person did me a favour!

That’s something needs doing here Rhosyn - will get grandson on it when he comes in the holidays. I used to love painting - you can see where you’ve been and made a big difference.
Lovely sunshine here so i forced myself out to clean balcony window so its done now .

Yes Jac, it’s small jobs for me too. Very careful about getting above ground level, and haven’t the sheer strength to do what I used to do. Getting old is not for wimps

Lovely day here .Just booked neighbours Tesco and had a look ay future slots . They go real fast and now have booked until middle of Aug and then couldnt get the time slot i prefer.

Another lovely day and the washing is on the line. My Asda delivery has just been - I’ve forgotten a few items so may venture forth later in the week - or I may ask my DIL to put them on her Saturday delivery. See how I feel. I suppose I ought to have a proper check list not just a note of a few odds and ends that I jot down as I’m going along!

Don’t know how but there seem to a lot of towels washed this morning,now blowing on the line.
Almost finished my outside painting,one more wall to do but will have to get somebody to do the top bit-been warned not to climb the step ladder.

i, I have a hot ear from spending most of the morning on the phone! Rob was taken into hospital last night after bad seizure yesterday afternoon. Spoke to Rob’s Doc - eventually - he’s stable. They’ve CT scanned him (same as last one - though I don’t know when that was) x rayed , think there is a small amount of fluid on one lung which may have caused infection and that could have triggered the fits. So he’s on iv antibiotics and fluids, nil by mouth and will be in there until the infection is cleared. No visiting of course, so I’m feeling rather like a spare part.
Hope Rob is better today Sue xxx Its a shame about the visiting .
Miserable day here so just sorted recycling out and hope daughter calls down

Going to see my g.grandson(and his mother and sister)this morning.He is 2 years old tomorrow-where did those 2 years go?Granddaughter is spacing the visits over two days,she was hoping the weather would be nice,hope it’ll be better tomorrow.
