Over 50's Wales Club

Not thousands Jac, it’s £5million+. Think someone should have told him to save the postage! Lovely sunny day here but the wind is bitter. Finished my jigsaw and made a load of Welsh cakes for the lambing crew this morning. They’ll collect them when they come over later to check the ewes in the meadow.

Not so windy or cold this morning.
Had letter from the surgery this morning stating that I’m in the"at risk" group but not in the “shielding” group, the shielding group are people with particular conditions.
No real plans today-just doing things when I feel like it!
Have a good and safe day.

He has probably got shares in the Post Office - I hate to sound cynical!

Hello Footprints. What a lovely surprise to find a new member in here. Are you shut in? Thank heaven for the internet…

Welcome Footprints xx
I feel like sending my letter back with “Return to sender” on it .
Another lovely day but a bit chillier. Just going to put a bit of washing out
Keep safe and warm xxx

Think I’m developing terminal sloth. I can see loads of jobs that want doing but I can’t whip up any enthusiasm to do them! Well I have put the clock right on the central heating - and altered my living room clock this morning - oh and ironed four pillowcases! Must sit down and have a rest now.

It’s been so much colder here these last few days. All last week I was wandering round in a Tshirt, now I have a Tshirt and a thick cardigan on and I’m still not too warm. Don’t you just hate people who grumble about nothing?..

Another sunny one here and the sea looks so pretty, calm as anything .
Just stripped bed and washing on .Know what you said Sue ,I haven’t got any hwyll and a real couch potato
Keep safe xx

Apparently the goats that live on the Great Orme are invading Llandudno - taking advantage of the empty streets, and having a great time eating the plants in peoples gardens.

Hi Thanks for the welcome message. No I am not exactly shut in - free to go out shopping once a week - and to go out for exercise once a day. Lovely to live opposite a beach.
Yes I agree nice to have the internet to keep us connected.

Hi. - Thanks for the welcome message.
No sign of the letter ! Not that I am holding my breath.
I am OK and on a pension - but really feeling sorry for those people thrown into financial chaos due to this.

Hello Footprints(in the sand?!)I’m lucky too I can go shopping,I go about every 9 or 10 days.I live out in the country with plenty of walks I can take my pup on.
Not so sunny this morning but not cold.No plans today-just take the day as it comes.
Had letter from the council this morning about keeping safe and well, with a list of things that support workers can help with-free of charge. It seems that they are doing their best to keep their residents safe.
Have a good day.

Overcast here but still calm . Just had Tesco delivery and everything came so well done
Just been on Fb and talking to granddaughters, one in Liverpool and one in Australia. I was sending both of them new pics of both their sons to each other. Great technology

I am tearing my hair out here. Three weeks ago I placed an Asda online grocery order, due for delivery this Friday. Tried to add four items, got to the checkout and It’s telling me to change my browser - I shouldn’t be using Google Chrome (which I have been using since the year dot and for many previous Asda orders). I’m spitting feathers…

hi,how you all keeping?safe I hope, got to say im fed up with gardening lol,
take care

Hi Rhosyn - The footprints in the sand photo was taken in Crete - on a walking holiday. Always had a fascination with the sea, and the country. I have never actually been a serious walker, just like being out in the fresh air and nature. So glad I have escaped the city (Manchester) for the glories of North Wales, but I wish I could pronounce the place names!

Hi Doc ,nice to see you
I’m lucky where I live on Caswell Beach Footprints . At least I’ve got a lovely view and I can sit on the balcony . Makes you forget whats going on until you watch the news .
More overcast and chillier today but the sea is nice and calm
Take care xxx

Hi Jac , Yes its lovely to have a view, my flat overlooks Colwyn Bay - never get tired of looking at the sea and the sky - they change colours all the time, and if I move over to the window I can see whats happening on the beach - I get great amusement from seeing the dogs chasing balls into the sea or trying to catch seagulls.
