Lovely sunny morning again,not so cold.
Had a lovely walk up the mountain with the pup earlier-he saw his first bumble bee!
Had a FB video chat with son no2 earlier,he was going to come for the weekend but best he keeps away.Son no1 is coming to cook me a late lunch.He’s here most of the time anyway.
Happy Mother’s Day.
Just been to Church to put flowers on the graves and spent half an hour in there on my own saying a few prayers. Not that this village is usually the hub of the universe but it is eerily quiet. Countryside is glorious, lambs and daffodils everywhere and birds singing like crazy.

My daughter didn’t come down for Mothers day ,first time ever. Her hairdressers has closed and also S-I-L 's Restaurant. Strange times
My handyman just knocked to make sure I was ok AaaHHH

Lovely to be out gardening in this nice weather.
Made a big batch of Welsh cakes this morning.Posted some(and other goodies)to son no2 in Windsor.He’s stuck in his house,parcel cost over £6 to send but I know it’ll cheer him up.
Having an icecream party with g.grandchildren via video call at 4 o’clock.

Another lovely morning - certainly raises the spirits. I’m turning into the proverbial washerwoman. Not taking sheets and towels to hospital laundry any more, doing them myself while I can. So - line full of towels and pillowcases this morning. There’s loads of housework I should do, but not in the mood for that, so have a Christmas present jigsaw on the dining room table which is probably going to drive me to drink…

Just checked on my daughter to make sure she is self isolating . Her and hubby love to be out walking on cliffs etc but fair play they are both in

Frosty first thing when I was out walking@6 am.Sunny day in front of us again.
Waiting for delivery of new armchair today-don’t know if it’ll arrive,tried phoning but it goes to answer.Will email them later,might have an answer then.No panic for it just annoying not knowing.
Did a lot in garden yesterday,will be out there again this afternoon.

I did an Asda order 3 weeks ago - due to be delivered on 3rd April. Trying to think ahead I’ve tried to get onto their site for the last couple of days but no luck - all I can find is Click and Collect at the Hereford store. Luckily I have a freezer which needs clearing out and family and friends roundabout that I’m going to have to rely on.
Another lovely day and yet more washing washed - and a few brambles cut off - I don’t do dainty gardening…
Had an early morning walk up the mountain,it was so peaceful up there,made me grateful to be able to enjoy it.
Lot of neighbours out at 8 last night clapping for the NHS,cars and a bus tooting as they passed.It was very moving.
The Chinese takeaway and the fish and chip shop have closed in the village,the little Italian sweet shop closed last night.The village shop will remain open because the post office is in there,but only two people allowed in there at the same time.
Going shopping tomorrow-needs must.

Handiman has taken my recycling down because daughter is taking notice of the ban .Just heard that Boris has got the virus !!!
Another lovely day and yet more washing done. The forecast for tomorrow is much colder so I don’t suppose we’ll be sitting in the conservatory with the doors open then. Managed to move the jigsaw onto a makeshift table out there so the carers can have a go at it if they feel inclined. Now going to get back into “The West Wing”. A carer loaned me the third season series (had the 1st and 2nd a couple of weeks ago) I’m really learning a lot about the American political system! Oh and I’ve started reading Wolf Hall…

Survived shopping in Morrisons(didn’t venture any where else)
Had to queue to get into the store but to be fair Morrisons were very organised.Got enough for 10days or so.
Going out for usual walk later then taking it easy-too cold for gardening.

Much colder here. I have some washing on the line but will have to force myself to go out and collect it shortly - it won’t be a pleasure! Done very little today. Cooked lunch, more jigsaw and now watching Robin Hood.

Been for our walk,only 3/4 hr today-too cold to stay out for too long.
Cooking duck breast(left in freezer after Christmas)with plum sauce for lunch.Going to watch a film this afternoon-haven’t decided what yet,something light hearted is called for.
