My grandson went to America last week with mates to visit LA,NY etc but we have just been told they have had to cut the trip short and come home ASAP
Its so depressing reading the paper or watching the news.My only worry is getting my Tesco order

Been out visiting today-some idiotic drivers about.
Son no2 was due to fly to LA today- there for a conference but decided against it.BA were very good and he can fly there instead in June(when the next conference is).He also had all of his US dollars back in sterling from Tesco so BA and Tesco are to be congratulated on their service.
Played bowls this morning, but expect it will be for the last time for a while. Lots of elbow bumping instead of handshaking. No rugby to watch this afternoon

I see the government want over seventies to stay indoors for the next 2 months !!Iāll be ok Iāve been sort of self- isolating for over a year . lol

Had a panic here yesterday, I lost my phone signal and mobiles donāt work well here. Our handiman came down and tried all he could so I was going to get a message to BT today but when I was dusting today I wiggled the wires and it came back on . What a relief

How are you two doing? This seems to be a thread of three atm. Went to the dentist this morning for the next step towards my bridge. Not as bad as I was expecting but I was in such a daze afterwards I forgot to pick up meds from the surgery and had to phone DIL to collect them for me. Managed to get an Asda delivery for next Wednesday, hope we can hold out until thenā¦
Dreary old morning.
Went Tesco shopping early yesterday morning(7.30).Got the things I needed so Iām ok for a few days.Then took pup for a check on his scar after his op-vet has signed him off.
My little g.granddaughter was upset yesterday cause she couldnāt come to Mamguās house.We had a video chat and she asked if I could go to see her in her house if she couldnāt come here!Difficult to explain to a three year old whatās going on.

So cross. Just signed into Asda to add a few things to next weekās order only to discover that they claim I hadnāt finalised it so they cancelled it. Booked another for 3rd April but still canāt finish the checkout - and canāt get through to the helpline. Grrrr! Think Iāll go to town early tomorrow and forage.
My order is due tomorrow cross fingers . Iāve had to go in every day and check because availability changes by the hour . Couldnāt get eggs !!

My grandson got home from USA ok but was put on lockdown in the hotel in NY for the last few days and then ushered through the airport and not able to buy a drink nor duty-free !

Son no1 went shopping for me yesterday,got most of the things on the list but he couldnāt get eggs either Jac.Fancied making Welsh cakes but will hang on to the half dozen eggs Iāve got.Think Iāll go shopping in the morning,usually go early anyway before the ācrowdsā

Expedition to the local Co-op this morning. Managed to get most on my list except for milk! Luckily I can manage for a bit and one of my carers will try and get some for me tomorrow. I was quite shocked at how empty the shelves and freezers were, but as I was departing a Co-op lorry pulled in, so letās hope that will fill some shelves up for other folks. That poor critical care nurse brought tears to my eyes this morning.
One thing weāre not going to go short of is eggs. Several big sheds of laying hens locally and they have their own little hut to sell from in the village.
Tesco just delivered and I was very pleased . The man didnāt come in but all the food was in bags so I just carried them in. Some things I ordered werenāt available so they sent me more expensive things at no extra cost so great
Not a bad day . Iām wondering if my daughter will call down . She hasnāt rung yet . My handyman will take recycling down if she doesnāt

Got all i needed in Morrisons-even eggs.Strange to see two security guards walking around the store,thereās usually one at the entrance looking at the cctv.
Lovely to be able to dry the washing out on the line.
Lovely day today. Had a load of washing blowing in the sun and wind and didnāt have to put the heating on until 4.30 pm. The lambing crew arrived this morning with empty cake tins and casserole, luckily I had a cake for them - and a tin of chocs left over from Christmas. Will do them a turkey/chicken curry tomorrow. Iāve downloaded Wolf Hall on to my i-pad so am attempting to get to grips with that.

Had a really bad night again so Iām shattered ,fit for nothing . I ended up watching a Town like Alice in the night because I couldnāt get to sleep .
My granddaughter who lives in Liverpool has a birthday next weekend . She also has a young baby . My daughter and S-I-l want to visit in their campervan but not sure what they should do
