Went to see physio yesterday,gave me shoulder exercises to do-which are painful to do,no pain no gain!I might try a chiropracter.

Staying in today,sorting out clothes- the village school does a collection twice a year to help with their funds.I’d rather help the school that put clothes in the charity bags that come through the door.

Back down to earth after a long journey (sleepless night in plane), so busy trying to put all away, catch up on sleep and deal with post. Builders arriving tomorrow to replace conservatory roof. Deep joy.

Another rainy one here but just read a forecast and it said we are due a 7 day heatwave ??

Had some treatment on my shoulder yesterday,the chiropractor did tell me that my shoulder would hurt more for a couple of days-boy was she right!

Back home and down to earth with a vengeance. Builders here to reroof the conservatory and engineer here today to service the cooker and boiler. Don’t know where to put myself.
Had a great time in Canada, but could have done without Hurricane Dorian which swept up the coast on Saturday (the day of the wedding). However, we moved the wedding to the Friday to avoid it and just as well we did. All went according to plan and then on the Saturday, just when the wind was picking up the power went out - and didn’t come back until we were leaving for the airport on Monday! Biggest problem was no-one’s phones were working because the masts were without power! What a drama. However, there were no casualties and not as much damage as you might expect. All part of life’s rich pattern!
That was an adventure Sue xxx

Glorious day. Managed to get washing out as there were no builders’ vans to contend with. They almost finished the conservatory. Roof is done, inside and out, they’ll be back tomorrow to paint the new ceiling and put a downpipe onto the guttering and then they’re finished. They’ve been so quick and such nice lads, though I’d forgotten how much noise builders make!
Weather’s going to be lovely again today.
Still having trouble with my shoulder.
Meeting friends for coffee after shopping later.

We’ve got the builders in as well Sue ,sorting out the fire precautions . Its a big job but they are not noisy most of the time ,just a mess in the corridors

I’ve been taking Beta-blockers for my anxiety symptoms and have developed areas of Psoriasis which is a side effect . What a mess. I’ve left the meds off but now feel like shite .
