Good morning everybody another sunny day here and I’m off to visit my friend later.
Lovely sunny morning-joy to be out and about this morning.
Enjoyed my evening out last night,the meal and the show were great.Derren Brown is a clever man.My friend had not seen him “live” and even he was impressed!
Sun, what sun? To top it i’ve had a power cut. Didn’t know as i was reading the local rag, having just come in from dog walk. As we are priority I knew when Southern Electric rang me ready to rush a generator to me (already have one but wouldn’t bother for just me)

Had to go to Mumbles to pay a bill but didn’t hang about ,couldn’t get back quick enough.

No plans so just enjoying the day
The sun is shining; it is a very pleasant day.
Thick fog first thing now spring has sprung into a proper glorious day. What a welcome change.
Started off in a polo neck sweater though the sun was shining. Drove to Llandrindod to shop through thick fog in Builth. Back home nearly passed out so changed to a t-shirt! Heating only switched on at 4 pm. Rob ate a good lunch and a normal tea, so think he’s on the mend - which is more than I can say for my carers. The one who gave him the infection last weekend is off work and the one who came in on Monday is off too! Thank heaven the agency have found replacements.
Watched Crufts again tonight - did you see your favourite vet on Celyn? He talks such a lot of sense.

Can’t watch Crufts. There have been some videos on specialist sites I am on but I find it rather upsetting because it was my regular meet up,with all my friends. They come from all over the country, some from abroad, and it’s the one time of the year we were able to meet up.

Have been watching Crufts again Celyn. Border collie from Germany won the Pastoral Group. He’s lovely.

Thanks Sue, my friends updated me later and I didn’t know until your post.This is what has happened with the Pet Travel Scheme, dogs can move around from country to country and the best compete with the best. Although they all started their blood lines in the UK. I have just been in tears watching a BC in heel work to music. My friend Penny Forster-Cooper, the breeder of my 16 year old, was the Border Collie bitch judge this year. It really is the pinnacle of a career to be invited to judge at Cruft. You know years ahead. I have won under Frank Kane the Group judge, at shows, he favours the BC. When entering a competitor takes all this into account. It’s very tactical
Shame the boys didn’t play as well in the first bit as the last .
