Over 50's Wales Club

Good afternoon everybody Sun trying hard to come through here at the moment but its not cold. A quick tidy up then out for a walk and a Sunday paper.

What a lovely sunny day itā€™s been.Went to The Range this morning for some fence paint but came away with a few other things!Did a bit in the garden after lunch-thatā€™s me done for the rest of the day.

Bit chilly out this morning but lovely and sunny.
Taking dog to the vet this morning for his for his yearly booster jabs.My dog is a Westie and his breed won at Crufts-but he doesnā€™t look as posh as the one that won!
Enjoy the sunshine.

Turned on to Channel 4 last night just in time to see the little Westie take his place on the podium. Nice to see a different breed in pole position this year. Did you see that awful German Shepherd in the ring Rhosyn? Whatever was the judge thinking about. Thereā€™s going to be a big outcry about that. Am I dreaming, or was there a similar row a couple of years ago?

Nice morning, sunā€™s out, so may get some washing on the line. Thatā€™ll make a change.

The dog world is up in arms about the GSD. Not just bad judging at Crufts but that dog must have been winning else where to qualify. I am in the process of wading through Saturday nights Crufts on iPLayer, to see for myself. The GSD world has been having problems for years, now itā€™s centre stage.

Gorgeous Westie who deserved to win. Whippet lovely too. Border Collie a handsome dog but not my type of dog. Too heavy. Couldnā€™t do a days work, which is the criteria on the breed standard.

Glorious day. Looks like we are in for a nice spell.

Good morning everybody. Cold and sunny here at the moment so will wrap up and get out for a walk. I never watch Crufts.

My d-I-law had a westie called Bazā€¦sadly no longer with usā€¦
Sunny day here tooā€¦had quite a productive morning moving furnitureā€¦going to move into back living room as it gets the sunā€¦have to sort out sat and tv leadsā€¦
when I say moving furnitureā€¦one bookcaseā€¦well itā€™s a start

Lovely sunshine here all day
Busy with the hoover , nothing exciting planned

Great day for the washing, got two loads out on the line, dried, aired and back in the appropriate places. For the first time in many many moons the washing basket is empty and the ironing done! Going to strip the bed tomorrowā€¦

Canā€™t imagine how that judge put that dog first, and, as you say Celyn, it must have been placed elsewhere to qualify for Crufts. Those judges should be disqualified. I think I read somewhere that the dog in question is a bitch and she has already had a litter.

Not quite so sunny this morning.
My dog was brave in the vetā€™s yesterday!Vet said his heart was strong and his teeth were good for his age.
Special thoughts for my Dad today,it would have been his 100th birthday.

Bit overcast here after a sunny start
Tesco has been and Iā€™m trying to get motivated to go out for regular Tuesday pub-lunch

Overcast this morning, hopefully itā€™ll brighten up later.
Off to tend the sick this morning,my friend has a heavy cold, taking him some home made Leek&Potato soup. Will stop on the way to get some grapes(as requested)

Sunny spells here but a chilly breeze . Washing is blowing nicely
Just been pottering this morning

Brightened up here thank goodnessā€¦had a really lazy day so farā€¦apart from doing a washā€¦and dried it

Lovely sunny morning.Itā€™s great getting washing dry outside.
Bit of gardening to do today.
Enjoy your day.

Good morning everybody cold and overcast here this morning. Off to visit my friend later.

Lovely sunshine here but still a nip in the air
No plans so just enjoy being lazy

Good morning everybody another cold start here today. Off to the hairdressers then a look round the shops.

Lovely sunshiney frosty morning. Going to take Rob out to lunch in Morrisons - think he must have cabin fever, hasnā€™t been out for a fortnight. He is better but still a bit rattly!

Enjoyed my morning with Rosie yesterday at U3A. Lecture was on ā€œMonastic Walesā€ - I would have enjoyed it a great deal more if the Professor of Mediaeval History who gave it had spoken more slowly! And as she was only 4ft nothing we couldnā€™t see her either so no chance of lip-reading! There is a web site called Monastic Wales if youā€™re interested. I had no idea there were so many monasteries in Wales.

Glad Rob is on the mend Sue xx
Lovely warm sunshine here at the moment so just put a wash on the line
