Over 50's Wales Club

In some ways we are lucky. Because Michael cannot breath through his nose, only through the tracheostomy which has several filters, he seems to get away with colds.

LUcky Rob (perhaps not) but the home made rice pud sounds yummy.

Showers here and chilly .
Been busy with hoover so just relaxing now
Hope Rob gets well soon xxxxx

Ooh, heck it’s cold tonight.

Hope you’ve thawed out Celyn.
Rather wet out this morning.Been out and about early-now in for the rest of the day.

Its pouring down here at the moment
Two friends have phoned asking me if I can give them a lift to go for pub -lunch . Do you think they are trying to get me out of my rut lol

Possibly or they are too lazy to walk Jac

That was a soggy, cold, dog walk. My poor oldie has trouble on the mud.

Off to the hospital now.

Rather windy but dry walk this morning.
Going to see Derren Brown in the Swansea Grand tonight.Seen his shows before and enjoyed them.Meal booked before the show:-)

That sounds nice Rhosyn, used to love the Grand Theatre.

Rob a bit better this morning. Doc came yesterday (he looked about 16) and prescribed some antibiotics, so let’s hope that will sort the chest infection.

Horrible morning, north wind, lashing rain - and there’s snow on the tops of the hills. Poor little lambs out in this.

I was going to ask how Rob is. Pity it’s gone on to his chest, that’s always a concern.

The forecast looks horrendous although nothing, apart from a very grey sky, yet.

They don’t seem to put those little plastic coats on lambs these days. I think too many discarded by frolicking lambs and polluting the environment.

Windy here too…stopped raining though…we had a lovely few days away in Portsmouth and Wimbourne…and we were so lucky with the weather.
Slight problem in our hotel in Portsmouth when the head board of the bed came totally away from the wall…I’ll leave you lot to fill in the gaps…;-)…

Yes…well 'nuff said!

You were really lucky as only being within striking distance of both Portsmouth and Wimborne, we had some dreadful weather, snow, hail and sleet. Yet a few miles down the road it could be dry as a bone. You must have been skipping around and missing the bad patches.

Not saying anything Nimby lol
My daughter went to see Derren Brown last night as well Rhosyn. She has seen him before and said he was great.
Chilly showers here , I did make the pub-lunch yesterday so don’t mind a day in today
Hope Rob is better today Sue

We did go through some sleet and snow between P’mouth and Wimbourne but nothing to write home about…
by the way…you lot don’t half have mucky minds:-D

Who said we were thinking anything untowards. I was thinking you may have had a nasty bump on the head. I could tell you have amnesia because there’s no u Wimborne:-D:-D:-D:-D:-D

Sorry…do I know you ???

We had some lovely sunny day here and it was really warm at times. Had lunch out and then some ice cream sat on the prom.

Nimby, best laugh I’ve had today

:-):-(:cry::surprised::smiley:

Happy to oblige Celyn x

I like it!

Rob a bit better, but still rattling - however we have a lot of antibiotics to get through…

Off to U3A to meet Rosie - lecture is on “The Green Man and Misericords” - Have to admit I had to Google misericord…
