What in the world are you going to do with the phones Jac? Seen them selling old phones at Antiques Fairs, so don’t put them in the bin!

Alvin mowed the ground across the road earlier on and there were four red kites following the mower. Looking out of Rob’s window they were below me and their colours are just amazing.

Just come home from the cinema (My Cousin Rachel). Read the book years ago, but really enjoyed the film. Did she or didn’t she?

Good morning everybody some blue skies here at the moment. Sue I went to see that film a few weeks ago with a friend and was left wondering as well about the ending.

I’ve been laid up with a stomach bug since Monday night.Did manage to shower and dress yesterday but not too good today.Feel so weak-didn’t know diarrhoea could last this long but they say that it takes longer to recover the older you get.
Loved the original My Cousin Rachel with Richard Burton and Olivia De Havilland(black and white 1952)I’ve got it on dvd and have watched it umpteen times but still don’t know-did she or didn’t she.

Hope you are feeling better Rhosyn. Keyboard on lappy not working so.using Tablet slowly.Don’t know what to do with phones, not really antiques Overcast here but still warm xxx

Rhosyn hope your feeling a bit better. Jac I had old phones and I just binned them, maybe a charity shop will take them. Off to Ibiza tomorrow with my niece and her family for two weeks.

Hope you’re feeling better Rhosyn, tummy bugs are nasty.
Had a shower of rain here this morning, but we could do with a lot more. Water butts are nearly empty.

Have been having words with the company from which we bought Rob’s (very expensive) bath. The temperature was not getting above 37 degrees - which is warm, not hot! However I have finally convinced them to come and do something about it, so waiting for them to arrive. Of course they will need to test the temperature when the bath is running, so I can see them pouring gallons and gallons of precious water down the drain. We really don’t appreciate the stuff coming out of the taps in this country. A water meter concentrates the mind wonderfully…

Still got “the runs”.Son took a poo sample to the surgery for me this morning, will wait for the results.Feeling lousy again.Poor dog can’t fathom out why I’m lying on the settee such a lot.

Hope you are feeling better Rhosyn. I,m the opposite, need a stick of dynamite .It,s been a lovely day but I,he been on the sofa all day. Our handiman took the phones and is going to find out what to do with them

Feeling really washed out, didn’t think this would take so much out of me.I’m being nagged to build myself up!

Absolutely Rhosyn, how about a nice tonic wine?

Don’t know how many of you on here know/knew Roses from SZ. She’s on holiday in Italy atm with a friend, Henry. They were involved in a car crash on Monday when someone ran them off the road. Henry got off fairly lightly but Rosie took the full force of the airbag and they both ended up in hospital. However they have been discharged and the owner of the place they are staying at has been a great help, collecting them from hospital and sorting out police and car hire. Hope they will be fit enough to travel home on Saturday.

Doctor rang yesterday confirming that I had food poisioning.Public Health will have to be informed, they will phone me to get details of where and when I contracted it.
Did go shopping this morning to see what I fancied to eat, baked potatoes won!

Poor you Rhosyn xxcx My laptop is gone for repair
Pouring with rain here so a duuvet day for me xxx

I read about Rosie on FB Sue, hope she gets home OK . Give her my love xxc

Sunny morning. Feeling better today but legs still a bit wobbly.

Glad you are on the mend Rhosyn. I’m still feeling washed out
Funny. day, quite overcast at the moment xx

Couple of strange days, where the cardi has been on and off several times. Today has settled to a heat wave! We’ve been on the patio nearly all day and for once it’s really comfortable in my sitting room (faces north).

Having terrible trouble with my Kindle Fire tablet, it’s refusing to charge. Maybe the cable I suppose, though this is the second one I’ve had. DIL is going to look out an old one of hers. Otherwise I suppose I shall have to buy yet another… Grrrr !!!

I,be sent my laptop to be repaired,£80 grr.
Daughter picking it up tomorrow
Very overcast with a breeze here. I,m off out for pub lunch but don’t feel like going ,
Will have to force myself. Lol

Thunder and lighting woke me up at 2.30 this morning, luckily it didn’t last long. It’s dry this morning and not so muggy.
£80 for repairs Jac-ouch.You think that it’s an ok money month and then some unexpected bill turns up-it happens often in my case!

I didn’t know whether to just buy a new one but its done now
Didn’t hear any thunder but its quite overcast and muggy
Have a good one xx

I’ve spent £80 today as well Jac! Had my car valeted, inside and out and waxed! Took the guy 4 hours and it looks absolutely wonderful… only drawback is that the upholstery is still slightly damp and I can’t leave the doors open for it to air 'cos it’s started raining!
