Going to meet granddaughter and baby today. She goes back to work next week after her maternity leave.How quickly that 7months have gone.It’s going to be difficult for her to leave the little one and to get back into the work routine.

My S-I- L mother died in Sardinia this am so he is beside himself . Glad they all went over for Xmas, at least they have got good memories .

Decorator in yesterday to do Rob’s room out (another coat of magnolia) and he’ll be back today to do the bathroom and conservatory etc. Next week outside. Let’s hope it dries up by then, it is bucketing down here atm.
Off to Cardiff later this afternoon to see “Grease” in the Millenium Theatre with the Craft Club gang. Can’t say I’m looking forward to a wet journey in a minibus!

I had to go out to the Doc because I’ve developed an abscess on my nether regions . It came out on nowhere and it was difficult to see . I was like a contortionist with a mirror . Doc tried to lance it and gave me antibiotics . Have to go back on Monday and may have to go into hospital to have it lanced in theatre .Could do without it xxx

It’s stopped raining here at last.The road looked like a river.
My abscess a bit better today so hopefully it will heal without going to the hospital .
I had to clean my window after the torrential rain yesterday but its very overcast and looks as if it could rain . Cant believe its nearly the end of July

Eldest grandson calling in later on his way back to London.Promised to make him some bacon butties.
Lost a filling last evening eating celery-visit to dentist tomorrow.

It’s damp and dismal here but supposed to clear later . I’ve got a bit of washing but not sure whether I should chance it outside

Called in dentist earlier got appointment at 4.30 to fix my filling.
Its a lovely sunny day here as well . I’m off to the Doc soon and I’m hoping that I don’t have to go to the hospital, abscess is much better

Jamie’s cast on his arm dissolved in the bath last night so he had to go back to A&E to have it replastered this morning. After a couple of hours paddling in the river, his Mum took the boys to the hospital and I came home for a bite to eat and a coffee. Then we met up when they came back and the boys, dog and I went up onto the hill to fly a kite and pick some whinberries. Dog is now kn*ckered and asleep on the settee - and I’m not feeling much friskier!!!
Hi folks…I’m still around…never seem to get on here…hope all is ok with you all. Out tomorrow night for a meal with family to celebrate grandsons 21st…where does the time go!

Terrible rain here and quite a cold wind ,totally different day to yesterday and I’m glad to have a duvet day
Been out meeting friends,haven’t drunk coffee since I had food poisoning-so whilst they were enjoying their coffee and cake I stuck to water and no cake but managed to put the world to right.
Horrible driving on the M4-speed limit was 50.
Started out sunny but now the rain has arrived.Managed to get the towels dry before the downpour.
Going to catch up on some tv programmes this afternoon.
I’ve just chanced my washing out because its nice and blowy but will have to keep an eye out for the rain. Lots of dark clouds up there.
I’ll be catching up on my tv recordings later. TG for Tv xxx
