Afternoon, raining here at the moment, Caught the bus over to Braehead and went to M&S for a bottle of wine and other things. Having some lunch before I go to the hairdressers.
Getting a tad gusty here but I bet itāll be nothing compared to north of Hadrianās Wall.
I could have sworn I read the other day that thereās going to be early snowfall up in Scotland in the next week or so.
Thereās already snow up in the Cairngorms, not much but enough to make you shiver.

OMG itās getting wild out there, the house has been shaking with some of the gusts. Itās making me more than a bit nervous. Thereās going to he damage thatās for sure. 
I hope you donāt have too much damage Rox. Blowing a gale here as well but not as bad your area.

Iām just hoping the power doesnāt go off,

Well itās 12.30 pm and I was wakened with a banging outside,ā¦One of the SH doors has been blown half off its hinges and thereās nothing I can do to fix it as itās pitch black,pouring with rain,and blowing a galeā¦We werenāt expecting the wind to be as strong here as it is up North,ā¦so Iāll just have to let it do its worse and see what the damage is in the morningā¦Should have had it demolished before this anyway as itās falling to bits with rotā¦I wonāt get back to sleep now.
I trust we all survived the night. It was pretty hellish out there but calmed down this morningā¦so far!

Good Morning Folks,wind has died down a bit here but still heavy rain,
I managed to secure the SH door first light,and the only other damage was a soaking wet rug and fallen branches from the treesā¦funnily enough the bins had hardly moved at all,I hear the power is off in some places further North,

Good morning the wind has died down here thank goodness. There doesnāt seem to be any damage that I can see so far. Meeting one of my friends later for lunch in Renfrew.

I hate storms. They scare me, even down here in the calm English countryside. It sounds too wild up Scotland.
Been and had my annual flu jab this afternoon so I need to rest my arm ā¦ hee, hee, thatās what I tell Mr M so he can wait on me hand and foot.

Morning, We still have the tail end of the storm, winds have dropped to around 50mph and supposed to blow itās self out by lunch time. Then the cleanup starts, downed trees, downed fences, roof damage, the usual. Going to Perth in a few days for my appointment at Edinburgh Royal. Not sure if theyāre going to give me an operation date but it would sure be handy if they did.
Morning. Sunās is out at the moment and still a bit of a wind blowing. My neighbours tree is nearly bald as all the leaves have been blown away. Saves me the job of sweeping them up. My friend and I changed our minds yesterday about lunch and weāll go on Thursday.
Winterās well and truly on itās way ā¦ but look on the bright side!
How many weeks is it till Christmas?
Because by then weāll also have had the shortest day and the nights will start to get lighter again.

The time is going too quickly for Me as it is without wishing the Winter awayā¦Iām Scottish,ā¦ I live in Scotlandā¦I expect rain/storms/snow in Autumn/Winterā¦If I didnāt like it I would have moved down South.

Morning, Just back from the pool and The Front, popped into Tesco on the way home for a few thingsā¦ and then some, Ā£40+ I ended up paying. I really should stop browsing and just get what I need. Itās sunny and dry today but the Caithness Wind is back to normal and with a cold bite in it.
Evening. Out early this morning to go into for a facial. Went into a shop bought a jumper then in a few other shops for a look. Decided to go home early and found Iād left my phone in a shop. Panic stations till I gor my phone back from the first shop.
