Over 50's Club Scotland

Hi and good morning, May. Just 15C so not too bad. Remind me - which part of Scotland are you from?

I live in the Central Belt…Lanarkshire Council…but My post-code Address is Glasgow.

Thanks May. We lived in Kirriemuir. James Barrie lived there known for Peter Pan. For most of my life I have lived in Watford but now I’m retired and we live in Yorkshire. by the Roman Road.

Good morning. Raining here this morning it’s housework and trying to figure out a knitting pattern. Rox glad to hear your feeling a bit better, hope all goes well with the phone call from the hospital. May glad your feeling better as well.

Morning, Not nice today it’s wet n Windy. Went to the pool then to The Front to drink my latte, nothing else on so it’s just a tidy up and a couple of hours with my online jigsaw and audio book.

Good Afternoon Folks, can’t believe I’ve got here as a windows update yesterday screwed up my whole laptop and locked Me out,all I got for the whole day was the never-ending circle :scream:,Got out My big old broken laptop to see if it would fire up,and thank goodness it did…found out from that how to get to’ advanced recovery’ to take Me back to factory reset…My brain hurts now as everything on the laptop is different now,and there’s about a hundred new APPS…jayzus!..I 'm seriously thinking of jacking it all in as it’s just becoming more & more complicated…I’m NOT a happy bunny :unamused:

Hi everyone … had a bit of a stinking cold, and it was just a cold I think except my sciatica flared up at the same time.
Boy have I been one miserable pig but I’m okay now.

Morning All, Soooooo, Is everyone ready to be blown about? It’s quite calm here just now but I’m dreading when it does hit… I hate storm winds and the damage they cause. We will be outside later this morning securing everything as according to the forecast we’re getting over 60mph winds later today and 70mph on Saturday. Just getting ready for the pool good job it’s Friday as I wouldn’t want to drive the coast road into Thurso in the storm.
Hope you all don’t get hit too bad.

Random question Rox. Do you still have a Bowling Ally in Thurso?

Good morning. All calm here at the moment although last it was and wet. Bought a new washing machine yesterday which will be delivered on Wednesday, Hairdressers late m and I’ll get a bottle of wine when I’m at the shops.

Good morning Each,a wet but calm one here too atm and it won’t bother Me if it blows a gale later as I’m still not feeling 100%,so won’t be going out anywhere,
Keep safe all & See Ye A’ Later,x

No it closed a while ago I believe. We’re not into bowling so never paid it much attention.

Good Afternoon People,I decided I needed some fresh air so went to the Co-op for oranges & lemons…Was surprised to see so many cars in the Ave’ still in the driveways and parked at the kerbs…Has no-one gone to work today?..Is it too wet n windy for the poor souls to be out in…Jeeze!..was expecting to see someone with a sandwich board saying ā€˜THE END OF THE WORLD IS NIGH’…
