Over 50's Club Scotland

Oh Jess I know that feeling, last winter I got home from the pool and found I’d no phone, talk about panic, I drove back as fast as I dared and asked if it had been handed in… No. I went and searched the changing room, nothing. I was almost in tears as I headed back to the car, then another car came into the car park and it’s lights picked out something on the ground where I’d first parked, it was my phone, it had fallen out of my body warmers silly wee pocket and I’d not noticed. What a relief, I put that body warner into the charity bag as I would never wear it again.
Pockets are getting smaller and phones are getting bigger…Not Good. I leave my phone in the car now while I’m in the pool. Every jacket, body warmer ect I buy now I make sure it has good sized pockets.

Morning, Dry but windy here today. Finishing up cooking for the freezer today and packing for going to Perth. Have to be at the Edinburgh Heart Hospital on Friday for my pre operation scans and a talk with the Surgeon and if possible the anesthetist. Hopefully I’ll get a date for the operation but who knows. Not sure how long I’ll be in Perth, want to see my family and a couple of friends.
Behave yerselves.

Morning. Rox I usually keep my phone in my bag but took it out to give them my e mail address… Best wishes for your pre op scans and the Surgeon. Hair and nails for me today then a trip to the shops for bread and a few other things.

Good afternoon Folks,a mild but wet one here,
Just back from the Co-op and My shoppping came to around £19 but when I got to the checkout I was told they weren’t accepting cards so cash only, had around £15 in My wee change purse,so had to give back some stuff…it was the same in the rest of the complex,Boots/Dentists/Opticians/Greggs and a few other wee shops…These Cyber attacks are becoming more frequent so what the hell is this shit Government doing about it I wonder :rage:

Fingers and legs crossed for you for Friday Roxy … it’ll all be worth it when it’s over.
@May … I’m a dinosaur and get funny looks all the time in the local supermarket for still using cash.
And Smart phone? What’s one of them?

I always use cash when I can, I don’t want to lose it. IMO, cards are traceable, it doesn’t matter what you do, the government and the DHSS will know about it. No Thanks, cash is freedom, my life is none of their business.

Sometimes I use cash and other times my bank card.

The only time I use cash is for the window cleaner,

With many functions of government farmed out, the information held on us is spread thinly across a myriad of agencies and offices.

If you drive a car, commit a crime, pay taxes, claim benefits, apply for a passport, buy a house, marry, have children, die, or register to vote you are slowly dripping titbits into the UK’s information pot.

No matter if You decide to use a debit/credit card or withdraw cash from the bank to pay for Your purchases,Methinks the Gov’ will know about it…there’s no hiding place from Them. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Crossing My fingers for You on Friday Rox,xx
