Evening, Was back at the nurse who took more blood this morning, only one vial this time usually it’s 4 :person_shrugging: Had a phone call yesterday from a Specialist Cardiology Nurse in Ninewells, she told me she was my link between Edinburgh Surgeons and Dundee Cardiology and she’s been sitting in on video meetings with them. She wanted to talk about my meds and how I’m feeling in general, She was nice and I was able to talk to her ok, she said if anything changes I’ve to phone her right away, and she’s keeping in touch with me. Seems things are moving along now.

Morty I like Matalan’s stretchy jeggings, great for horse riding. But it’s not the big horses you need to watch it’s the wee ones, they’re the bosses lol. As for grooming it’s quite relaxing and a good thing for bonding. Just remember NEVER get behind one or approach from an angle you can’t be seen. :cowboy_hat_face: :slightly_smiling_face: :racehorse: :horse_racing:

Afternoon. Rox glad to hear that you have a nurse who you can contact and act as your link to doctors. Its been a long time since I’ve been on a horse, the last time I think was in Aviemore. Weather not that great here today, hair then a visit to M&S.

Hi good people - I’m still here and still the grumpy old Scotsman. I miss the hills in the north of Kirriemuir where it is a wee bit cooler. Where we live now, South Yorkshire, it is 26C. Tomorrow it may be worse.

Evening All, Blimey I sound like Dixon of Dock Green. :joy: Not had the greatest day, was ok when I first got up but couldn’t keep my eyes open so back in bed a couple of hours later, been there most of the day.
Good job I make meals for the freezer every few weeks, I pulled out a couple of bowls of Stovies this morning before I went back to bed, we’ve just finished them and I’m stuffed, I only had Stovies but Dunc had a couple of rolls with his, I don’t know where he puts it all :eyes:
Have a nice W/E.

Morning. Raining here this morning, Going to my nieces later, she was going to have a BBQ for her son’s 18th birthday. Just had a message saying it will be a buffet. Either way I’m looking forward to it. Have a good weekend.

Morning, We’ve got rain too, I was late getting up today but enjoyed lying in bed listening to it on the window and the slabs outside, it’s a lovely sound. I’m going to try a bit of a tidyup shortly then a nice long shower and hairwash, washing my hair these days is a bit of a chore as it’s so long now. Don’t know if we’re out to dinner tonight or maybe just meeting the others down at the local. The Ferry Inn in Scrabster is out of bounds for me now as I can’t manage all the stairs up to the restaurant. Hopefully get back after the operation is all done n dusted.
Enjoy your evening with your family.

Morning. Hope you managed to go out to dinner last night. I used to enjoy a long lie when I was working and enjoyed it. Now I wake up about 7 30 and cant get back to sleep. Had a lovely time yesterday at my nieces meeting up with the other family members I haven’t seen for a while.

Afternoon, No we didn’t go out last night I wasn’t in the mood and surprisingly neither was himself. He drove into Thurso and got a couple of Chinese Meals with chips and rice, we had it in front of the telly and fair enjoyed it, not done that for quite a while.
Sounds like you had a grand time last night.

Hi All !
Sunday lunch for us. Special chicken - my dear wife is ace it that being from GA, My sister loved it too.

Morning. Rox only had one Chinese meal since I moved here and didn’t enjoy it. Will have to try another Chinese restaurant. Bo your Sunday lunch sounds delicious. I bought something and didn’t like it, so I had good lod beans on toast.

Morning, Dull here and quite breezy, no rain forecast so have got the bedding out on the ropes. Not going out so I’ll be here to keep an eye on it.
I usually get either Chow Mein or Beef n Onion if I’m having a Chinese, sometimes with a portion of Water Chesnuts if it’s Chow Mein or Mushrooms if it’s Beef n Onion. I have my favourite place in Perth and I know a couple to avoid, they just don’t taste as nice there…

Evening. Turned out quite sunny here today. Had my hair done then went into town. That’s the first time I’ve had a Chinese meal since I left Largs.I usually order lemon chicken will have to try another Chinese restaurant,

Evening, Bit dull today it was evening before the sun came out. Another quiet day for me I seem to have very little energy, hope it doesn’t get any worse but if it’s to get as hot as the Weather Man says I know it’s going to floor me, I hate the heat these days.
Got my Chiropractor in the morning so will need to get my rail in gear.

Morning. It was the same here yesterday, it was evening before the sun came out. Hope your Chiropractor helps you when you go today. Waiting to hear from my niece we’re going to Haven for a few days, so it will be good to get some sunshine.

Evening, Not once did the sun come out today but it was very humid, I just did a few jobs round the house and rested a good bit. Went to water my tubs but found I didn’t have the strength to carry the watering can, this is getting ridiculous. :slightly_frowning_face:
I’ve never been to any of those holidays places, always meant to go with the grandchildren but it didn’t happen, but you have a good time.

It’s the heat Rox …it won’t help. :hugs:It’s energy sapping. And argh! Supposed to be be gettong hotter at weekend.

Morning, It’s boiling here already Morty, it’s going to be inside with the fans running for me today. I used to love the heat but now I hate it, Once it’s cooler tonight we might get the Clydes to the beach for a paddle in the ocean, they love that and most of the tourists have returned to wherever they’re staying for the night so it’s nice and quiet. Tourist season never used to be like this it was busier sure but since Covid and motorhomes it’s gone nuts, the locals who live here hate it.

It sounds bliss … could you hitch up a little cart for me to ride in. I’d love to romp in the surf.
I’ll bring some apples for the Clydes. How many have you got?

2 They belong to my partner, he rescued them about 8 years ago. They’re called Bonnie and Clyde, sorry we’ve not got a cart you’d need to saddle up. :racehorse:

Crikey I wouldn’t dare. But Clydes look beautiful horses.
