Afternoon, Bit of a wild day here, wheelie bins determind to fly around the yard. Locked them in the greenhouse for now. Watered my plants and got a row, but honestly I’m bored rigid sitting doing nothing. My girlfriends are coming for lunch tomorrow and bringing it with them so I don’t have to make anything, looking forward to that. Am thinking about heading off to bed for a couple of hours and a sleep, been sleeping a lot since I was taken poorly.
Have a nice day…
@Rox … Only just caught up with this.
You are having it rough right now (understatement of the year) … so get all the rest you can and be selfish. Your health comes first. Scary stuff and I know what it feels like from when i had my aneurysm and had surgery. And yet now, here I am and I’m still the old curmudgeonly old bint that you all know so well.
Thinking of you lass … hugs.

Sorry to hear about what you’ve been going through @Rox, wishing you all the very best and hope you get back in shape soon.
Afternoon. Rox hope you enjoyed your lunch yesterday with your girlfriends . Did some weeding in the back garden, they’re coming through my fence from a lane.
Morning, Rain here today but it’s very welcome. Yes I had a grand couple of hours with the girls yesterday, it fair cheered me up. Got to pack for a week in Perth this afternoon as we’ll be driving down tomorrow, beginning to hate that journey it always takes a lot out of me, but needs must and I won’t be doing the driving.
My neighbours in Perth don’t do their garden and their weeds come through to my side, bloody annoying isn’t it. I stopped breaking my back doing the weeding they should be doing and soaked the place in my homemade weedkiller, my son pours it along the fence weekly, it works fine and keeps it clear.
Afternoon. That’s good you had a great time with your friends. It’s a small lane between the houses and he weeds grow wild. I usually wait till they’re long enough to pull out. the others I use salt on them. Had a nice surprise last night my nieces took me down to Largs where I had a delicious fish supper.Safe journey down to Perth and hope all goes well for you.
Sat at Ninewells waiting for my CT Scan, we arrived quite early but trying to get parked can be a nightmare.
Weather is sooo bloody windy, wish it would stop. Think we had summer last month.
Morning. Rox that’s the worst part trying to find a parking space at Hospitals. Hope you don’t have to wait to long for the results. Weather here isn’t much better, windy and cold.
Afternoon, Got back last evening, Dunc drove straight from the hospital to the farm. I’m still aching all over from it. I have 2 places I always stop on the A9 for a break but he wanted to keep going.
It’s usually around 2 weeks for results as far as I know, not sure where they will be sent, the Cardio Unit or the GP, maybe both.
Really cold wind here today, kind of day I didn’t like doing Dageus’s walk, we were always both blue by the time we got back.
Evening. You’ll be glad to get back home again to your own house and bed. That’s the worst part waiting for results from a Hospital. Weather wasn’t that great here today. Just hope that the weather picks up soon.
Afternoon, It’s not bad here so far today dry and not howling winds. Trying to take it easy but I’m just not used to all this sitting around. I can do a few things sat at one of the tables in the kitchen or day room, just the heavier things I struggle with and the heart rate goes flying up. I got one of those things you pop on your finger to keep a check on it.
We haven’t been out for dinner for a while so Dunc says we’ll go tonight if I feel up to it.
Have a nice W/E.
Morning. We had one heavy shower yesterday, then some sunshine. Met up with friends yesterday for lunch and a few glasses of wine. Meeting up with my friend today and we’re going to see a comedien, I’ve seen him before and he’s quite funny. Hope you felt up like going out for dinner last night.
Afternoon, Yes we went out for dinner but just to the dining room of our village hotel and local. Couldn’t face the stairs up to “The Ferry Inn” in Scrabster.
Not bad here today just the odd shower, got a washing on but will dry it inside as I don’t want to have to rush out to rescue it if the rain comes on again.
Enjoy your time out with your friend.
It’s absolutely slatting cats and dogs here … a right soggy June.
At this rate I’ll have to move upto Scotland with you for some better weather.
Morning. Had a nice time yesterday with my friend, we went for pizza and a glass of wine after the show. Got washing out so hope it doesn’t rain. Housework today and then have to go to M&S and change a pair of jeans.
Morning, Not so nice today Morty, lots of heavy showers so far this morning.
Do you really buy clothes from M&S Jess? I only use their Foodhall when I’m down in Perth, I stopped buying clothes from them years ago, they changed somehow and fell out of favour with me. I moved over to Matalan, George, Bonmarche and occasionally Tesco’s FnF.
