Rox couldn’t sit out here today either because of the cold wind. Jean it was a family name there were quite a few Hugh’s in the family all called after my grandfather. I will be glad when they start the kitchen and get a new washing machine.

Morning, Just crawled out of bed and enjoying my first latte, no pool today still only going 3 times a week. Got an appointment with the Chiropractor at 9am then a quick trip up to BHF stores as I’m still looking for a black leather sofa. Meeting daughter at 11am and heading to Matalan for a mooch round then going to lunch somewhere. Busy morning ahead and it will wipe me out so I’ll be having a wee sleep later. Don’t know why I tire so easily since my fall but I do, never used to.

Good morning. Wall to wall sunshine here but still cold. Will warm up later. Sounds like you have a busy day Rox. We have recently got a Matalan in East .Kilbride . Popped in on Monday and bought myself a T-shirt. Usual day for me watching the g/kids from 3 til around 6.30. Need to leave around 1 pm as need to get 2 buses and neither service is very reliable.

Jean there is a Matlan about ten minutes from here on the bus, will have to pop along one day to it. Washing ready to hang out on the line, then over to Brahead for a few things.

I got my black leather sofa, it’s coming tomorrow and I donated my 2 seater and chair back to them…Just praying it will fit through the blooming front door now. 
Well done Rox, I think that’s the problem now with sofas some just wont go through the door. Got the washing dried and did a bit in the garden.

My delivery problem got fixed. Old order cancelled, new one on way. Turn the day on its end. Knackered! Granted, but it looks promising.
I am a tight fist SN, I won’t pay the sort of money asked for new sofas, suites. The British Heart Foundation gets some wonderful stuff and I always go there first, also my money goes to a good cause. Their prices are very reasonable . I got my new and it was new, mattress there a couple of years ago. It’s a memory foam one and very comfortable, cost a fraction of what the bed shops charge. My sofa yesterday is perfect, not a mark on it, lovely and comfortable, 3 seater black leather, just what I wanted. Not a recliner but not fussed about that.

Me too, love BHF. Mattress in December 2021, a bargain for a king size and a dream to sleep on.
Need to drop by in May as I’m hoping to be lucky and find the best low coffee table.
PS gave them my entire vinyls collection. Found out it was a hit at their auction in Glasgow. I was very humbled.

Super I don’t do online shopping for anything. Glad you got a new delivery slot and they come on time. Rox looks like the Hairy One has claimed the new sofa. Had my hair cut and coloured today and I feel a lot better for it. Going to get on with the baby blanket and get finished for next weekend.

Good morning everybody… Yes, Jean I’m still knitting its almost finished and the proud Granny is off to Oz on the 1st of May. Looks like grey skies out there this morning, off into town later to meet a friend for lunch.

Good morning all, getting duller by the minute here. Watching the London Marathon and thinking I couldn’t walk 26 miles never mind run it!
Went fine at the chiropodist yesterday go every 4 weeks as I have type 2 diabetes and always cut my skin when I do my own toe nails. But had a broken toenail which was giving me gyp. All sorted now.
Will go a walk later need to get a paper.
Jess glad your day went well next time I will be there!

Morning, Very dull here and spits of rain every now and again. Had a busy morning, went to get diesel for my Yeti, took Dageus for his hoof and ball chase, took him home then went to Tesco for a load of messages. Was very surprised to see all the Union Jack Bunting and hand flags on sale, they must be expecting a rush on street parties ect for the Kings Crowing on the 6th. They must also be in cloud cuckoo land. I know of no street parties ever being held here. 
Heading off for a sleep shortly, tired myself out…again.

Good afternoon, dull and grey here today. Jean glad all went well yesterday at the Chiropodists and your dancing on air, looking forward to meeting up again with you… Oor Dorothy is running the London Marathon today. Rox most of the shops here are the same selling all the Coronation things. Did some housework, now getting ready to go over to the shops.

Ooh just saying: "Man, the weather’s depressing today. However, things have been good after wee Tai Chi session with daughter.
Lunch menu: pancakes freshly made with maple syrup and butter, coffee and juice.
Dinner menu: Pork Escalopes. Funky breaded pork steak. Served with copious amounts of apple sauce plus steamed veggies and chips.
Due to new appliance arriving Tuesday, the current freezer is getting reduced in content lol. So no more frozen mash. Bummer they’re so good.
Afterwards, planning grocery shopping at a new store. Friend recommended to try Farmfoods instead of Iceland. Apparently, I’ll save loads and that’s a good thing which I appreciate.
Have a funky day inside and ignore outside. Enjoy this beautiful day pic for now
